Warning

Dexter wears a topknot, NOT a ponytail.

Since we have decided our new puppy will be a female I have been warned she WILL wear ponytails AND bows!!!!

vance,
makes sense, but will she be attending all female catholic puppy classes?

:wag:
One of the few things that would make me get a female OES vs a male....is the fact that you can dress them up more!!!

We do topknots, but also piggys (or giraffe knobs - when they are short!).
No pony tails or bows here and we have mostly girls. We do piggies. Fits their personalities

I love the 'giraffe knob' description. With Charm's new hairdo, she now models a giraffe knob, and I didn't even know it. 8O
What's a giraffe knob?

Nola's hair isn't quite long enough for a top knot but it's getting in her eyes some! Would love to hear some new ways to "style" her up! :)
We do it all as many have seen ...but I figure as long as I use an appropriate color (like blue of course for the boys) ...it's all good.

Mr J says it's never all good when bows are involved.

When the pigtails are really short and stubby, they look like the knobs on top of a giraffe's head. I used to call them horns, but then I had someone call them giraffe knobs and I loved it - and it stuck! :D
I love my beautiful little princess! :hearts: Nothing wrong with making a girl all pretty!

Why do you always have to post pictures that show either our messy house, or various cases of beer, or bottles of wine!?!

You do realize that 99.99 % of us only saw the dog and the bow and then felt compelled to look for the "mess"/beer only after you pointed it out?

Cute bow. Wouldn't stay on any of my dogs' heads for 3 seconds, but quite adorable. Dog isn't bad either. No opinion on the beer.

kristine is right on the money. 8)

Right! Just saw the dog and the beautiful bow....

  Then just had to go back and look for the beer!

Actually, me too! :lmt:
I did the same thing. Now that Dale is not working my house is always a mess. I don't notice when there is a dog there though.

Thank you Lisa and Spacegirl, you understood what I was saying. :D
By the way I as well am a Lisa
These pictures are adorable. Ramsey is too young, and a boy, to be dressed up yet, (that's not going to stop me tho, lol). However my Labradoodle gets bows, hair clips, my coworker even braider her hair recently, anyone do that to their sheepie, their fur is much longer than hers, would look interesting! Haha. Here is a pic.

Nice french braid!! love it!
Love the french braid, great idea.
My OES friend Maureen does that braid with her OES - and most often her male.
She competes UBER seriously in obedience - both Louis and Hilda are UDX obedience titles dogs!
