Everything does not need to be sheepie related. Last year there were several "regional" baskets. People put together baskets of goodies from their home town/state/country. Those were fun because we got to see stuff that other people love.

I'm not a potato chip person...so :?
But Todd loves chips, every flavor except the hot peppers ones. He tried the ketchup chips...

......

......

He thought they were totally awful and we ended up throwing them away.
Great Dawn...now Canada is going to hate us because you dissed their favorite chip flavor :headbang: :headbang:

I should find some for Melissa...she loves ketchup. When we were little she would pour it on her plate and eat it with a spoon 8O

Well. We're definitely NOT going to Sheepiepalooza now!!!
Whew! No one mentioned the amazing necklace... I'll speak up for that please?! Must one
GO to the event to bid? What about silent bids from those of us losers who can't go?

I definitely don't make the rules--but...I am trying to get another pair or two...

There were lots of wonderful things last year that were not sheepie related. I just thought it would be FUN to make it a project this year to shop every month for some sheepie items to donate to the auction--I have had a blast--of course one for me and one or the auction LOL!!

I am so excited as I just purchased an item exclusively for the MEN attending! LOL--AND it is a sheepie item???? Thinking about posting a pic- :D :lmt: :lmt:
I thought it was time to preview some more Sheepiepalooza Auction items!

Handpainted Ladies Wallet

You are sooo lucky I can't make it!!
They are sooooo NOT sheepie flip flops! They are honest to god, good old Aussie thongs. Go away Ron with your allusions to intimate apparel, down here they are thongs, rubber, the best kind.
I really like the sunglasses. But then everything is really cute.
I'll raise you 2 somewhat well behaved sheepies and a black cat.

Lisa Frankie and Mattie
where again do i send stuff
David, I suggest a trade...ketchup chips for ANYTHING YOU WANT! I grew up in Northern Michigan and we'd take a trip up to Canada JUST TO GET THEM!!! (and the 19 yr old drinking age, but I digress)

Sheepie auction item is in the works! :)
Here are a few more...

This T-Shirt has Austrian Crystals in the word Sheepiepalooza--I am bringing it for the auction in size Large

A close up of the center-

The Sun Catcher is very well made!

I wish some of you would post too! I want to save my pennies and make my list! :D I like to know what I am going to shop for LOL!
Great stuff!! I can not wait. Andrea and I are working on a couple of "items" to bring. Once they are done I will try to post them. Try is the key word here.

Should be fun

:hearts: :hearts: I REALLY REALLY LOVE the suncatcher and the sunglasses! :hearts:
I love the sun catcher really nice work !!
I've been doing a little shopping for the auction as well:

Just a sneak peak:

BUT

The one I am most excited about:

Jennifer from Little Kritters Knits & Knots (http://littlekrittersknitsandknots.webs.com/) has generously offered her time to make this adorable hat for the auction.
:twitch: :twitch: :cheer: :cheer: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Those are adorable!!!!

Cindy
I might just have to find a way to go this year, if for no other reason than to outbid you all on these fabulous items!! Oh, and to bring ketchup chips, of course.
It looks like I'm coming (even if Adam has to stay home  ). Can I bring stuff to donate to the auction?

My next question was to wonder if Adam will be able to come....I hope it can work out. But I'm still happy you will make it, Allison :D
He's really, really bogged down with work. We're sort of living at crisis level, all the time. I'll be glad when November comes and this is all behind him. I'm tempted to tell him to come, and he can work part of the day in the hotel room.... but I know it won't happen and he'll fall even farther behind than he already is at risk of being....

Well I hate to wish his summer away and hope November comes quickly! :?
And I would be the same - no way would I have the discipline to come and then spend part of every day working....no way!
But.....who is going to consume all the drinks we promised to buy Adam???? :lmt:
I don't want to give it away... but I spent Saturday working on my auction Item!!! It was so fun, but I'm holding my breath hoping it turns out! Hurry up Sheepiepalooza!!!

ohhh, looks very, very interesting!!!
who do I mail my sheepiepalooza auction stuff to?/ Please pm me the address I have been so busy with rescue and have 5 fosters here plus my three and a dog in training and events for rescue almost every weekend :phew: I have fallen behind in OES.Org :cow: I need to step up my work on my items.........wish I could come
Wish you could come too, Cindy!!
I do too it would have to be a last min and I guess guinness, molly and atticus and I would be sleeping in my suv LOL I really really want to come but probably no rooms left I love all the auction items and want to send a couple things to support rescue and hoping ya all don't forget me :):)

Keep thinking about it. I had offered earlier to share a room if anyone wanted to or needed to....It's just me, Chewie and Bond in my room.
oh maybe we will be bunking with you it will be last min

Sounds good!! :D :D
I'm getting there sometime Friday afternoon, and leaving sometime Monday.
I think I need to bring lots of money. Everything I see on here I would love to take home with me. I really love the stained glass and the wallet. My checkbook cover is wearing out. I need a new one with another Sheepie on it.
I just hope we have our van back and it is OK. I have not had it since Easter.
The rental car is taking all of my Auction money to buy Sheepie Stuff.

Last year David took away my bidding paddle. I have not yet forgiven him.
:phew: It turned out! I can't wait for SHEEPIEPALOOZA!!!

Now I just have to bake some cookies... :D

CUTE!!!!
Love it!!! :)
Ahhh--really like that and how special --it is hand made!!
http://www.leathertherapy.com/categorie ... -Products/

I won a raffle at the local tack shop that included a sampler of these products. The bag has Leather Wash, Leather Therapy, and Leather Restorer & Conditioner. These are great products but I don't use this brand. Would this be a good auction item? The products would also be good for gearheads or anyone who needs to clean/condition leather. If not auction-worthy, I'll still bring it and the first person who dibs it at the picnic table outside the hotel gets it.
That plate is adorable. I just loooove handmade items. :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
I told Carley she needs to get a job so that I can buy fun stuff at the auction.
She just gave me one of those looks.

I think its a GREAT auction item! Tonks and Luna have done a job on the back seat of my car, which is leather. I guess 4 years of them riding back there was a bit more than it was intended for-- plus, my leather sofa can always use a pick-me-up, thanks to muddy paws!
Unfortunately: something urgent came up and we had to cancel our reservation and not come. I am very sad about this - However I have some items for the auction I would love to send. Would that be ok??

I finished my sewing project about 20 minutes ago! Here it is, ready for the auction:

Love it! :D
I did do a nice stained glass piece but never found out who to mail it to :( I had some other OES pieces in the works but never finished them  I did do a couple dog related things. Maybe I will just hold for next year as sheepiepalooza is coming fast. Unless someone is coming thru maryland and can transport for me :)
Cindy, you can mail it directly to me since I CAN'T GO TO SHEEPIEPALOOZA!!!!! :plead:
Nancy G
if you wanted to mail it to me, I'd happily drive it up. But I leave early thursday; youy'd have to send it second day.

have you tried PM'ing Val or Judi?
I figured they were so busy and I did post this awhile back and thought if they could recieve my stuff they would jump in...It is tue and I am afraid it won't make it even if I two day ship now. Guess I have to call my pilot and have him warm the lear jet up :sidestep: I just got so behind rescue takes over sometimes.............
Wait! Do you have to be there to participate in the auction???
That's not fair. Hudson thinks I should have the "handler impaired"
tote!
