Where did he go?

At class last week, we were running a course which consisted of the dogwalk, turn, going back the other way, jump, jump, tunnel, and weaves. The tunnel was curved and you really needed to move to get over and set up for the weaves.

So off we go, dogwalk, turn, jump, jump tunnel and...Simon did you get stuck in the tunnel? Why is everyone laughing and where the heck is my dog? He comes bouncing up from behind me.

He came shooting out of the tunnel so fast, like a cannon, that I never saw him as I was turning to set up for the weaves.

I really thought he was still in the tunnel. The instructor said "Man that dog is FAST"

Ha, ha, too funny! :clappurple:

Maybe you could get him a little sheepie sized cow bell then you won't lose him on the course.

somebody enjoys his agility class!
We had a similar laugh at our training class; twice Luna went into the tunnel and laid down in there. I thought she'd gotten turned around, but no, she was just resting!
Luna thought it was her away from home crate, "Mom says "time out."

He REALLY enjoys it...now if I could just get (some) control of him.

Good one, Pam :-)

Slightly different scenario, but also tunnel induced: one class I sent Sybil to a tunnel under the A-frame and ran like hell to try to get in a blind cross before she came out. I mistimed and she took me out. No problem, I got up and tried again. Same results. As I went to set up again instructor dryly said: I hope you have a different game plan this time before one or both of you gets hurt... ?

This is the same instructor who periodically reminds us that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. 8O 8)
