Another way you can help save lives!

I read a fantastic article today about a professional photographer that wanted to use her talents to help save doggie lives. She doesn't foster, volunteer at a shelter, or give financial support. She's using her photography talents to showcase the beauty in shelter dogs and is sharing her techniques and tips with anyone interested. I love her last comment in the article "You don't need an expensive camera. It's about lighting techniques and reading body language...that and the desire to save a dog's life".

Anyone who wants to help a shelter, but doesn't know how, you should check this out. What a fantastic way to help save a dog's life!

Beautiful pictures, lots of creativity and a great big heart. :D

I asked if the local shelter needed help photographing pets... maybe 4-5 years ago. They already had someone
who came in to do it. There's a new photographer now! No more pictures of dogs sitting in kennels... instead
they have nice backdrops. She (I think it's a woman) is doing a really nice job.

Think about it, which would you rather take home, a thug behind prison bars, or a Hollywood starlet? There's something to be said about Glamor Shot style photos.
