lilys at the vets getting spayed

She went in to get spayed today. I cried when i had to let her go. I feel sick to my stomach. I wont get her back til 5-6 tonight. Its too long to worry. Im going to go do some circuit training, hopefully that will help me work through my anxiety but probably not. I hate this.

So hard to do :( :(

Keep yourself busy and distracted, she'll be home faster that way!! :D :D
She will be fine. Separation is hard anytime, but when surgery is included, it's really tough.
Virginia is getting spayed this Tuesday. So I'll be in the same spot as well. I'm sure Lily will be fine as will Virginia.
Try to keep busy--
She will be home before you know it! :ghug:
Thanks, im really trying to stay busy. Circuit training helped a lil for that sick feeling. I just cant help but be a worried momma. Lil and i are hardley apart, i even take her to work with me. We both may have some codependancy issues....

Thanks for all the support!
Lily is out of sugery and waking up, they didnt shave her legs and everyone loves her. My vets office continues to impress me with how caring they are.
YES! That is great news. Certainly know the feeling. Hard to have them away from you and if surgery is involved, it's even more difficult. I always feel better when I get that call from the vet's office that surgery is over and they are now in recovery mode.

:clappurple: Very good news--I know you are relieved! Now on to a successful recovery!
Very good news for you and Lily both!! :clappurple: :clappurple:
:D She'll be home soon with her mama! :hearts:
glad she is getting on ok...x
Pretty soon you'll have your baby back.
Wonderful news!!! Now the tricky part comes when you have to keep her calm as she heals up. Give her a big hug from me! :ghug: :ghug:

Glad Lily is doing well and that's behind both of you. It is hard for the whole family.

Virginia is getting spayed on Valentines Day!!??? She will probably need therapy to get over that! Her recovery will be a bit trickier with her playmates at home.

Seriously, they will all be recuperating together, Charm goes for her spay on the 27th. :(
Brenda, we are on the same surgery schedule except it is for us humans! I go in for surgery on Valentine's Day and my hubby goes in on the 27th! So, I will be thinking of you and keeping paws crossed for all! :)
Thnks everyone! Shes at home now sleeping on her crate bed and im sitting on the floor so she doesnt wake up. Shes definitly uncomfortable and when shes awake enough she tells me by an almost inaudible sigh or whine. Im glad shes home.

I think the only time it will be hard to keep her from playing is when my fiance is watching her when im at work.....sometimes he just doesnt think.
I'm glad Lily's home and doing well! :clappurple: :clappurple:

Another guy who doesn't think...imagine that!!
Glad Lily's home, and that things went well.

Hugs to Lily.

Oh my!! Good luck to you too, Diane, hope it's nothing serious for either of you. I'll be thinking of you too and sending positive thoughts both days. :crossed:

Glad Lily is home now, how did the night go?
Glad Lily is home :clappurple: Did they give you some Tramadol for her pain for the first few days? Beware though, in a day or two she will want to run and play so be careful she doesn't pull the stitchs!

Sounds like she may need some boiled chicken and rice to make her feel better!
Lily, here's to a speedy recovery. :ghug:
How is Lily doing? Is she managing to keep quiet and calm?
