Yesterday i only walked bloo around the block, as his leg is still recovering, weget back in nans house loose him out the back door into the garden and whoosh!! nans garden is huge and i mean huge! He ran up the garden jumped over thew rose bush, round the o over the rose bush down the grass up the grass over the rose bush onto the patio down the grass then he flopped on the floor panting!!

Summer does it Sam. Sometimes we go for a really long walk, come back and she still does it. Short walk, does it, and then another time she doesnt do it. My sister used to have a lovely sheltie cross called Honey. That used to do circuits of the house.....
We let Summer out about 11 last night and she was so excited. The white stuff was back! She ate it, shovelled it, dug it up, ran about. Would she have a wee? No! Having too much fun! Got her in after about 10 minutes, I was frozen! She was desperate at 7 this morning! :wag: :go:
Yep, Howie too! He goes crazy running circles and tossing toys when we come back from a walk. And it doesn't matter how long the walk, on leash or off leash, he still is zany!

Bloo's leg must be feeling better.

We call this the 'zoomies'. Sheepies of all ages have this affliction. Our Zoey gets it REAL bad after we shave her down. Its lik an "I'M FREE!!!' moment. it;s really fun to watch. Just don't get in their way! You WILL be sore.

Perhaps you should get a back pack for your dog, so each mile you walk counts for more exercise! :D

My dogs are pretty heavily exercised, or else really old....so we have none of that here.
moe goes to the dog park whenever i am off from work or work late about four days a week. When I work early he gets half hor twice a day throwing the ball and fetching etc.No matter what we do at least three times a week..he gets the crazies at 930_1000pm..chase me around the house!...i want to go play ball etc..like a two year old child who is overtired..we just laughlay for ten minutes and then say Time for bed!..He goes to my bedroom..and promptly passes out..it is so funny
Schubert does it too!
After a day at daycare, he just passes out for the night.
But sometimes after a walk, he'd go crazy for 5 min!
Maybe Bloo had some excess energey since you mentioned his leg being hurt. He sudeenly had the opportunity to run free and he took it! Hope he didn't hurt his leg further!

I know if mine are without play and running for long, the minute they get the opportunity, they run like crazy nuts all over the place - knocking down everything in their way I might add
