I'm in. I did thank Dh for caring enough to not argue with me about it.

Give DH a big smooch from me!
Thanks for setting this up! When I heard the bad news, I had hoped something like this might happen. I just donated. I really hope you get enough to save your precious tiny baby. It says it ends on March 7 but I gather she will need the surgery before then, right?
Donation is in-- and sending prayers and best wishes for that precious one!
Donation tonight........but will keep an eye on the total if more needed.
Donation tonight. Good luck little Abbey!

Cindy
Thanks David for set up this account so that we can help Abby and Amber and Steve
I am overwhelmed with gratitude!

We are on our way to the University with Abby. I will keep everyone posted on how the surgery goes. I will be staying there until she is out of surgery so I will report here as soon as I am updated.

Big Hugs to you all :hearts:
Thank you for setting this up for :hearts: Abby :hearts: We just donated also~this community is awesome. And big hugs to you too, Amber!! Will keep you and Abby close in heart and prayers!!!
Dropped a check in the mail this morning. Should see it in a few days.
Praying that all will go well with little princess Abby.

Please keep us posted.
David, thank you for setting this up. I was praying this morning that this would work as it should, and it will!
I am so thankful for the community here, when Amber first told me about this little "runt" and how sweet and loving and playful she is, and then sent her picture:

:aww: :aww: :aww:
Wow, my heart grew 10x :D

This surgery should be a 100% fix, and she should go on to live a long happy life, she deserves a fighting chance! It's wonderful that this community is more than just words.

She needs the surgery today to have a chance, and I'll be speaking with Amber to figure out how to cover it today, hopefully the vet will allow payment in installments. So please keep donations coming in!

:crossed: :crossed: :crossed: :crossed:
:crossed: :crossed: :crossed: Hoping the surgery goes well for Abby :hearts: today! :crossed: :crossed: :crossed:

Amber, if you need someone to wait with you, Peg or I could meet you at the University.

:clappurple: :clappurple: A big thank you to everyone who has opened up their hearts and wallets for this little girl!!! What a wonderful group of people!!! :clappurple: :clappurple:
Donation sent, wish I could have done more.

Oh I just want to say I did not set this up. Jaci helped Amber set up the Chip-in after a few others expressed a desire to help out. I'm just helping out in the marketing department :D
Just saw this and just sent in a donation..hopefully it went to the right person as I am a bit computer challenged!

Good Luck with the Surgery...Sending our sheepie prayers :ghug:

And who will be geting this adorable baby once she is all better????
Diane
Just donated! And so everyone is aware, you do not need a Pay Pal account to donate - you can use a regular credit card. I don't have a Pay Pal account but donated to Midwest OES Rescue thru ChipIn a few months back with a credit card, so I figured you could use the same form of payment for this. Yay!
Donation sent....wish it could have been more. Sending lots of white light to little Abby and prayer to Amber and family! Come on Abby, you can do it!
We just donated. I didn't get a chance yesterday.
I fell in love with Abbey the minute I saw her picture last week.

Lisa Frankie and Mattie
Sheepie people are the best :) - very glad to help. Hang in there little Abbey- hang in there. I had to put 2 of my sheepies down last year around this time so I'm very happy to hear that this one has a chance at a great life. Donation on the way :D .
Donation sent....and we are so happy to help out little Abby. Sending healing thoughts and lots of love her way. :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
Wow, $4600 raised already? That's impressive. How much is the surgery?

We don't really know. She was quoted about $4,000 Canadian plus 13% tax ($520) plus any post-operative care, medications, etc.
The total money in my Paypal account exchanged into Canadian funds is now at $4395.45.

I am still anxiously waiting by the phone to hear from the surgeon as soon as the surgery is done. I will post right away.
Thinking positive thoughts for lil Abbey.
Anxiously awaiting word on little Abby.

Another anomaly with the Chip-In tally for me.

Last night, I was getting the wrong amount when using Google Chrome browser but the right amount using IE8.
Today, I'm getting the wrong amount with IE8 but the correct amount with Chrome.

I wonder why this is. Weird.

Ouch... they charge tax on veterinary care/surgery in Canada?

I find I have to clear out the browser cache for the Chip-in to show updated amounts.

Waiting anxiously to hear about Abby too!

You MIGHT be able to accomplish this without manually clearing your cache by holding the Shift key on your keyboard while you click the "Refresh" (or "Reload") button in your browser.
That is SUPPOSED to have the browser ask for new copies for all elements on the page.
