bloo vs tunnel/cone/tap pad

We have started going to agility classes for 3 weeks now with bloo.. i have to make him totally toy motivated which is quite hard to do as bloo isnt that interested in tuggy :(
HOWEVER!! This week we got moved into the main agility class!! We arust starting out so all we did was the tunnel 4 times, the send away around the cone and the target pad.
Tunnel: He wasnt very sure at first but eventually he went through all by himself!! The lady said its harder for big dogs as they have to crouch to get through the tunnel.. more effort.

Cone: Have to guide him around the cone, to make him learn to send away to run around the obstacle.

Target pad: A pringle lid, a biscuit lid, anything big enough to put treats onto. Have to put treat on the lid, then make him look at you then he looks at target reward, always reward on target. This is to learn him to stop at the end of the agility course when we progress that far lol :P

WE LOVE IT, only just started and its started wobbly, bloo doesnt like the tunnel but he will get used to it i suppose!! Its a great hour to pass!! :yay:

Yes!

Have fun..and it will be really good for Bloo. He can think, get exercise and learn...all while he thinks he's just out having fun!
well done both of you. if there was somthing to chase in the tunnel she would be first in. Never tried this as we just show here & I think bloo would be great. There is a show at ST ives on Sunday if your mum would take you. East anglian OESD club
