Mashed Potatoes?

I had some home made left over mashed white potatoes...Nothing fancy. Just plain mashed potatoes with a little butter and milk...Nothing really mspicy in them as my husband is on a bland diet. Had some left over so gave a small scoop mto the dogs with their dinner tonight...Is that okay? Should have asked that before

For most pups, doesn't sound like it should be a problem. Of course, it would probably kill Oscar  , but for "normal" dogs, I can't imagine there would be an issue.

Let us know how it turns out.

We give leftover mashed potatoes to our guys all the time. They love them!
Bumble gets mashed potatoes with every meal
No butter, no seasoning for him but potatoes are
often a carb source in grain-free kibble.
MO, ol tender tummy, adores mashed potatoes. I feed her from a fork, she opens, closes enough to scrape the potato off and then doesn't move, doesn't swallow, but does close her eyes!! She loves them and savors every bite.......I wish she'd also go "yummmmmmm." When she swallows, her eyes pop open and she's looking for another forkful.

She doesn't like potatoes in a bowl, too messy and difficult......she wants to be fed......and yes, I oblige her. (she also adores tater tots.....in fact it was tater tots that alerted me to her potato fancy. I don't like tots so was passing them out to the dogs......and the old lady kept pushing the boys aside)
Butchy gets things like that also and he can eat off a fork very well.
and here I get yelled at when I let the dogs lick my bowl clean

my hubby might faint if he saw me feeding from a fork!

;-)

LOVE IT!! :clappurple:
Dogs did just fine after their mashed potatoes! The loved them and no problem in or out! Ha ha...

Mine get mashed and other forms of potatoes all the time. They really love the ones from the crockpot when cooked with a roast and carrots.... 8) 8)

Ours are the official plate and pan lickers here too. Mostly Riley - he is fast and bossy...darn terriers!
