My bone is aching and needs a soft spot to rest

No her BONE not her BONES.

Tiggy prefers the hard tiles for sleeping, whenever I put any kind of blankets in her crate I find them all scrunched up in the corner in the morning and Tiggy sleeping on the tray.

However when it comes to chewing on her bone things are entirely different. The preferred spot is on the new leather sofa, the old one was good too. If the sofa is unavailble due to me putting X-pen up or shouting about no bones on the couch, sheesh, then Rastus's nice soft bed is the next best spot and if he is lying in it and won't budge then the thinner spare bed at the kitched door is a last resort.

Rastus is the opposite would rather chew his bones on the tile and sleep in his bed. Go figure. :lmt:

Bones slip around on hard surfaces. Nice leather holds them nicely. Makes sense to me. yeah, some just like a hard surface to sleep up, especially in hot weather where the floor is cool.
She uses your leather sofa to hold her bone in place. Now THAT is a princess! A beautiful one, though, so she gets away with it!
kinda like this?

I used to throw those bones on her dog bed and tell her to lay down....and she kept insisting that the sofa was the right height and texture to hold it in place....
Good one, Darcy :-)

I apparently have a dirtier mind than others on this board.

I am loathe to admit

but back to the actual subject at hand

smart doggie!
Violet always heads for my bed to eat her bone. I don't know why, because she is rarely on my bed, but hops right up there when she gets a bone. I keep a "washable" blanket over my comforter so the dogs can lay on my bed with no problems. Asia usually goes in my office and China climbs on the couch.
Great photo Darcy, but no, Tiggy prefers to lie at full stretch taking up the whole sofa with the bone held between her paws.
It's just weird that they are so the opposite. Rastus is quite the fastidious dog so I think he prefers to keep his bed clean. :D
We are called the human bone holders in our house
