| Enjoy your present. Happy Holidays! It seems that every big holiday I prepare for, I find OTHER things to do that sidetrack my present TO-DO list. Like I'll clean the kitchen, see things disorganized in a cabinet and spend the next hour changing it up. I'll never get done at this rate. |

He co-owns José with me & José lived with him for the 1st 15 months of his life, coming here every so often for a week or 2 for training. Not only that but they know as soon as they see or hear Jeff that they are going to get alot more time out of the kennel & in the family room. He loves having a dog around & really misses having a sheepdog. He used to have 3 & also grew up with one. My baking & candy making are all done. My friend sent me a "to-die-for" recipe for carmels. The cooking will take place starting tomorrow. Jim & Jeff both like to cook. We went grocery shopping to get all the good stuff...scallops, lasagna ingredients, taco soup, 2 hams (1/2 tavern for my other son's where we will spend Christmas day & 1/2 a spiral sliced for Christmas evening at relatives) & I pick up the standing rib roast Thursday! I am seeing my scale inch up just thinking about it all!  |

I'm taking a break from my wrapping marathon...  It's the final check for making sure I have the right presents for everyone, and all are accounted for! Todd's out ice fishing, so I get the TV, some flavored coffee and all the lounging dogs Then tonight our therapy dogs visit the hospital and spread hugs and cheer to the patients. What a nice day!! |
