Our first show in the last few months & it was Georgi's first one in the Junior Section. She came third, which was not too bad being honest. It was a very good show & we got some help again from our breeders who was not showing. Colin gave her a very good trim & it was very good to see someone doing shuch a great job. Lori had taken Georgi down too the groomer during the week to have a few things done & they done more damage than good . Was not happy when I came back home as I was going to groom her myself. Well they had taken out too much of the undercoat. Cannot comb her & only use a brush. I could see it in the breeders that they thought that there was some of the undercoat missing. Did not tell the whole story as its our fault & will learn by our mistakes. Back to the show. The judge was over 80 & that is a milestone judging at that age. Good too see lots of puppies there & the only fault I thought was the ring could of been larger. link to the results http://www.midlandoesclub.co.uk/71.html
Taken some pics but they were rubbish so will get them from the home page when ready |

Congratulations! As for the grooming, I can only imagine that it is a steep learning curve. It is good that you have mentors to help guide you. |
Most groomers here don't know how to groom a show dog either. They think they are "helping" by removing undercoat.
One of my Samoyed friends had that happen too years ago |

Well done you. That is a great result. I see that Lincoln got a 2nd in his class! Brilliant results all round. |
