Why didn't someone mention that "I" had to be in shape

I think someone forgot to mention that agility isn't for chubby girls. 8O

Oh my god, tonight we started doing 3 jumps at a time all spaced out through out the facility. I was sweating bullets by the time I was finished, and could barely catch my breath. That was after we ran back and fourth through it about 5 times.

The trainer said, see you didn't have to pay extra for an aerobic workout.

I'm sure the doc has told you "more exercise". Glad to see you took the advise. :P

:clappurple: Keep it up!!
I hear you! It is also an excellent reason to stop smoking!!!!
I hear you! I could barely hear the instructors instructions over the panting. not Mady's panting, mine!!
note to self.... NO agility for Cambridge! 8O
Really girls!!!! Think of the excersize you are getting!!!! Remember agility is FUN!!

Please don't hit me. I used to damn near have a heart attack in the beginning but working some on my own and with the dogs has got me in better shape to "run with the big dogs". Now if I could just lose some weight while I run with the big dogs life would be good.

Oh and sweating is part of the program.
Oh, sorry forgot to mention that. :) Do you want to hear insanity....I had both of my Aussies in the Agility class, China was in Agility 1 and Asia was in Agility II one class right after the other. My husband did accompany me to most classes and we shared running them, but man I had a hard time staying up with them.

I've done 2 classes in a row on and off for a few years now and don't really notice, except the mental fatigue by the end - after a long day at work, two hours of back to back classes you want me to remember a full course???? Are you nuts??? :twitch:

Class this week, however - and I only had Sybil, THANK GOD! - we were running a "seminar" (read: teaching) course - one frought with challenges most of us will never see in a trial, and pretty packed with them as well. I worked my tail off. We all did. There were five of us, only the token male seemed to make it through without really breaking much of a sweat (he and his corgi also made far fewer mistakes than the rest of us, so less redoing things) For the first time in as long as I can remember I was truly fatigued with three, four more obstacles to go - 22 obstacle course - and two of my class mates basically conked out at that point. Instructor informed us she was doing us a favor, helping us run off our thanksgiving excessive.

Sure, whatever. :x  Fortunately I had brought brownies to share, so we had something to sustain ourselves with :cow:

It gets easier. Just doing it makes it so.

:D :D :D More exciting than the treadmill!
^^^^
Not to mention more dangerous.
Tiggy decided to cut in front of me two weeks ago and my knee is still really sore. But it's much more fun than the treadmill.
Ha ha Mim  Bella cut me off the other night and I tripped over my own feet! Do they have agility practice for humans????
