| I asked about which online merchants people use in a thread once....
http://forum.oes.org/viewtopic.php?t=3267#28064 but there wasnt much interest expressed, (and it's a little bit of a hassle for me to sign up as an affiliate) in more than just PetsMart and Amazon. Please note that the merchants in the list are all INDEPENDENT; I'd have to sign up for each one separately. They are however associated with a single affiliate system, which makes it easier to join more than one program, so I'd like to stay with the merchants in that list. There are no minimums for YOU to buy something for oes.org to get a commission, but there is a minimum amount that must be earned by oes.org before oes.org can draw any of the commission out. In other words, if you by $100 worth of stuff, and oes.org earns a $5 commission, it won't be paid until there's at least $25 in oes.org's account. So if I create 20 merchant accounts, I'll wind up with 20 little $5 and $10 credits all over the place that I can't touch (and that will become a hassle at tax time). So, I haven't added any yet, but I may do so in the next few weeks. If an when I do, I'll probably also create a page of some sort, and maybe put a link down at the bottom of the page. Of course if you have a mondo purchase you need to make somewhere and don't have anywhere else where to "give" your commission, drop me a line and I'll see about joining a program just for you (and oes.org too!).
