Pepsi is my HERO!

 My amazing, 8 year old, Sheepie boy, Pepsi, was my hero today.
Of course those that know me, know he is my baby boy... he still looks like a puppy to me. :wag:

Entering into his Senior Years now he has developed.... let's say, courageousness.
He no longer just cowers down to take the attacks from Miss Rags when she decides to goes mental.
He will stand up to her to the point she will back off. I am so proud of him.

Today, yet another set of people (Gangsters) hopped into my yard. This is the second time this year. We had a gang of approx 20-40 people running from the cops from a party this summer at the house behind ours. They poured over the wall like cockroaches fleeing the light.

Today, I was standing out back with a friend of mine, a Sgt in the US Army, who was having some serious family problems.
His father had disappeared and we were waiting for Billy to arrive to help him search for him. He was telling me the events of what occurred up until this point. When I see Ryan climb up the 4 ft high blocks we have stacked next to the 6+ ft Block wall. He is such a nosy neighbor and loves to say hi to Joe or his Girlfriend, Kelly if they are in their backyard.
He was talking to who I thought was my Neighbor's Girlfriend, as I heard a female voice. I was paying attention to what my friend was telling me, but then I hear Ryan say, "What's wrong?" which was repeated twice and then he said, "Come here, I can't hear you?"

Not even two seconds later two Gangsters of Latin American backgrounds hopped the wall. They though it was a small drop into our yard, but it was actually closer to 7 feet. They jumped two feet from Rags and Pepsi.

Miss Rags being our resident Bitchy, crazy female is the one I thought would have gone nuts. Both dogs had them cornered but were distracted by the female gangster hanging over the wall. When the one guy started walking towards the front gate Pepsi stayed right next to him barking ferociously. The other guy jumped back to Joe's side.
Pepsi was grabbing, not sure about biting, but definitely nipping and being mouthy.
Rags stood about two feet behind barking sounding scary but not really acting aggressive in any manor. She was showing teeth and looked pretty scary.

So these people tell me they are my neighbors, just moved into the new house up the street. Nice try, no new houses in the past 3 years. And that they were looking for a short cut from the local stores and got lost. Yeah okay!! As he was slowly moving towards the front of the property, he asked what kind of dogs there are. I told him. Hopefully, he will go back and tell his friends that a vicious Old English Sheepdog tried to eat him!
Pepsi and Rags followed the man to the fence and continued to bark when they leaped over the front gates from mine and Joe's yards.

At no point during this did I ever call the dogs back to me. They were doing there job of protecting their Mom and keeping these people away. Rags, was obviously a bit more lazy, than my boy, Pepsi!

It's nice to know he's got my back! I :hearts: him so much!! It's obvious he loves his Mama too! :aww:

TY, they did good!
I did not call the police. They would have taken 45 minutes to get here and the people would have been long gone.
They wouldn't do anything anyhow. I called my Neighbor Joe instead and let him know that people were in his yard. He was on his way home when I got him on his cell. He got home just as I was leaving for a day out with the kids.
Good job Pepsi...and backup from Rags!
