| The vet couldn't get his penis to come out because of the swelling. She gave him metacam to reduce swelling, and noroclav for 7 days which is an antibiotic. We are going back in the morning & if the swelling has gone, she will be able to see if its a local problem like a scratch or test for something else. |

| Poor boy! Oscar suffers from preputial inflammation (balanoposthitis) as part of his autoimmune disorder, so I know how uncomfortable Oscar can be when he is suffering with his issues. I am assuming that Ru is able to urinate. Can you tell if the blood is coming from inside his penis, or from the prepuce (sheath)? It's possible that a foreign object (foxtail, grass seed, etc.) has gotten up in there, causing all of this trouble. I hope you get to the bottom of this soon. Laurie and Oscar |
