It is now snowing in Syracuse

We're getting our first snowfall of the season as I type this.
It's very light and not sticking, but it's in the air.

Gotta settle in & buckle up, cuz the crappy half of the year is about to start. <sigh>

Ugh, the older I get, the more I dread winter. I could never live any more north, too whiney. Does Brick like snow?
Hate when the s word starts so early...makes the season sooooo much longer...

Hey, Mark, join us in our book club discussions. It'll give you something to do over the long cabin fever winter!
Pulled out sweats today, indication of changing weather. Of course I quickly put on a tank top instead, dicotomy; sweat pants and tank top. Things will straighten out, either back go the sweats to the drawer or total cover. I would prefer these golden leaf days reains for another........4 months.
I walked around in a tshirt in Budapest today... :sidestep:
And you may keep the snow in Syracuse, thankyouverymuch.
They predicted snow showers for us after midnight last night but didn't see any signs of it. Still have to mow one last time before getting the snow blower attachment on the tractor.
Oh no. they just predicted some snow for us downstate NY over the weekend...Winter starting early I guess...

He does. For a little while. Then his paws get cold and he wants to come back in.
My Mom's flight to AZ was delayed yesterday for 1 hour because her plane was coming in from Denver. Then when she got to Denver, she missed her connecting flight to Phoenix because it was snowing so hard. All in all, she got in about 3 hours late. She did say the snowfall was beautiful.................from inside the airport :sidestep:

Total agreement here!

:high5: Cool! :high5:

(the snow, that is)

We are happily carting, so the snow can wait a bit. Todd doesn't have the snowmobile fixed yet either
Mark - you didn't show us Brick in the snow! Of course, it's old hat for him.

As for Benson, it's her first snowfall. By the time Hubby and Benson got ready to pick me up at rehearsal this evening, we had a dusting here at the farm. Poor thing couldn't figure out why all of her nice, green grass was disappearing! Then she figured out you could pounce on it, and root through it to find the hidden leaves, and roll around in it . . .

She did give him a nice pose before she started romping:

Awesome.
Puppy's first snow fall is always fun.

You actually got a bit that stuck.
We didn't here closer to the city.
Channel 3 news said the town of Pompey got 3 inches.
You dont know how jealous i am right now!! :( We never have snow in england, just rain. It will snow once a year normally in february when winters over :( Typical british weather.

Saturday: Snow, mainly after 8am. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 39. North wind between 3 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

benson, oh my. :wag:
I really need to get better at checking this site. LOL!

We're up in Clay. The snow didn't make it this far north. Funny how everyone thinks we get so much more snow, north of Syracuse.

I know I've seen Mark here before but I hadn't seen Diane in Chittenango before. Anyone else out there from the Syracuse area?

Jacqui
Well, I am downstate, on Long Island...calling for snow here too. But only a little... However, flooding and that is our concern....It is going to be a long winter....
Snowing in Beckley WV right now. They expect 2-4 inches. Our son lives there, his boxer is loving it! Not that anxious to see Charm in her first snow...
