:?: Contradiction between pregnance and dog

First of all,my english is poor(I come from China),hope you can understand my meaning  I'd like to listen to your advise.Thank you.
There is a boring mind besides me .I'm pregnant already nearly 3 months ago.In China, almost people think if you're pregnant, you'd better get far from the dog in order to avoid Toxoplasma gondii infection.
My parents also think like this,so they perpare to take My cute "Grubby" away to my relative.I live in my home,I usually get back to visit my parents every week.we're in the same city.
In my opinion,it's unfair to my dog just because I'm pregnant so she must leave us.My cute "Grubby"has been Vaccinate every year.So what should I do ?If Grubby leave us ,I'll miss her very much and feel guilt,I don't want she leave just for this reason.
It's also have another opinion,If you're pregnant, you just need to far away from dog's stool.
I'm confused about all this statement. What should I do?
Hope you can help me to improve this problem or give me some advise.Thank you all! :wag: :aww:

Dogs can carry toxoplasmosis. They get it from eating uncooked or poorly cooked meats, contaminated water, eating infected birds or rodents. You can get it by eating contaminated poorly cooked meats or even handling raw contaminated meats or by handling animal feces. The disease is far more common in cats than in dogs. The dog needs to have the disease before he can pass it to you.

I see no reason why you can't keep your dog IF: 1. The dog is healthy and does not have toxoplasmosis, 2. You avoid handling dog feces (have someone else clean up after the dog)3. You wash your hands every time after handling the dog especially after grooming him. 4. You do not handle raw meat or eat undercooked meat.

I suspect a lot of the toxoplasmosis transmission in your area comes from handling contaminated meat, not from healthy pets.
Thank you for your advise.I'll think about your suggestion.
I'm sure my dog is healthy, and my mom never allow me to clean up the dog's stool while she know I'm pregnant.
There're some complex situation if you feed a pet, especially feed a dog.In my city, you must pay 600RMB,nearly 100$ in the first year for the documents of feed a dog,and then pay 200RMB,nearly 35$ in the next year.Without any immunity or step, even in every lawn you'll see a board like this:"Pets are not permitted in".
Amost parents of the dog can give dog immunity by themselves, and also some people think like this:"My dog will be happier in the other country more than in China." :(
We love our dogs very much and will try our best to treat our pet well ,give them an "happy" environment as possile as we can.
Hope every dog can enjoy themselves every day,and they can feel more love from their host.
