Don't beat yourself up. I commend you for not killing him. Gracie was 8 and still "Busy". She at least knew what she did and my tone saying 'kennel' brought it home. The kennel is the neutral/no kill zone. Have a cocktail or 2. They may be 'dumb' but not stupid. He will probably think of something else sometime down the road. With all the extra treats and food, is he having a little gastri intestinal problem? :lmt:
had to laugh at the wiggle part. Thats Ryleigh- she knows she has done wrong but also knows mom cant resist the wiggle!!

But It also reminded me of my 2 legged daughter- sometimes she smiles when Im getting mad at her. UGH that just makes me even more mad and her grounding even longer, you would think she would learn....
so now it has been 3 hrs since i put him in the bedroom gosh this is killing me !! i bet he is sound alsleep on the bed while i am stressing

ha ha, probably having a nice snooze whilst you are pacing about. Deep breaths.........calming thoughts.......and CLOSE the doors properly. I have to put any food, biscuits, treats, carrots, right away from doggies.... :wag:
or, What's he been up to for 3 hours? :sidestep:
probably eating the bedspread.....or puking up all the dog food.

Time to invest in Ft. Knox stuff to contain the cookies and dog beans. I use a plastic garbage can to hold the dog foom with a "locking lid". Mine aren't smart enough to figure it out, but two rescues had that lid off and container tipped over in less than an hour after first getting here. Yeah, murder was on my mind too......."if they don't bloat I'll kill them." The cookies are now in containers used to store sugar/flour/cereal. As I said, safe from my brain challenged guys, maybe not from Duffy.

Also make sure the pantry has the cans low and the soft packages high. Glacier was good for tearing open sacks hoping whatever was inside was edible. I also had to make the door harder to open for her. Chain and padlock was next..........

Years from now you will laugh......I clearing remember looking out the kitchen window and seeing two grey butts on top of the garbage can, heads down in the can.....their version of dumpster diving. Had to help the girls out, scolding them, wishing I had taken a picture first.
Oh no! How's he doing? Better yet, how's Mom doing? :phew:
I hope all is behind you this morning. I hope Duffy didn't get sick with all that food. Give both the boys a rub for me. I hope you're feeling better this morning.
   OK I should not be laughing 8)

Naughty Duffy

He needs a new name like "Oinker" !!! 8)

Any wonder Duffy momma gave you no dinner :P Time to put food in unopenable containers just in case someone does a stealth raid when one least expects it

From one who learnt frozen 2 kg's mince meat on a bench to thaw, one cooked whole chook cooling, a tin in a bin that cut one sheepie girls nose and the panick to all that they are not entitled too but seem to be "Houdini's" able to find and get too. 8) Oh and not to mention "Christmas Decorations" the kids made out of salt dough and painted all gone from a christmas tree and one very thirsty sheepie girl who for 2 days had no food for her momma was in fear after that escapade of her bloating with all that salt and flour :?

Gotta luv those hairy raiders !!! :headbang: :wag:

Haha - on the joys!! These little moments are what make life - right?! As soon as things are locked up properly, everything will return to normal. At least it was dog food the second time and not something dangerous like chocolate!!!
yes we made up that nite stupid mommie now has notes at the door to lock up the food :bulb:
