Why is my dressing gown the best toy ever?

Our Cloud is the most adorable puppy ever and a total scamp.

12 1/2 weeks old and Mums dressing gown is the best toy in the world! But only when Mum is inside it! He hasn't quite figured out that under the towelling is my skin! Tug tug tug and then the odd 'accidental' nip! Then that big eyed innocent look when I yelp. He loves all his toys but this is the current favourite.

Education is slowly working using his chew toys and teddies.

Awww puppies I love em

thinks that is your coat/fur and trying to get you to play. Problem with your little one is those razor sharp puppy teeth......better your dressing gown than your skin!

Wait until he discovers any lotion you put on your body and tries to lick that off. Harry zeros in on me immediately, I have to apply and cover or risk his "correction to your scent, Mom." Dog slobber is not that moisturizing.
Dressing gown AND skirts! I rarely wear pants, unless I'm doing grungy work outside. Now that Benson has ripped holes in 3 skirts and a dress, I'm pretty much dressing in jeans for a while. I think that gentle ripple as we walk is a tug-of-war invitation they just can't resist! :x

She is 16 1/2 weeks old now, and it is a huge improvement from a month ago. She has her moments, especially if I've been out of the house for an extended period. A toy works as a good substitute . . . until she "accidentally" drops it and "mistakenly" grabs my clothes instead. :sidestep:

The good news is, I'm due for some shopping once the nibbling has truly passed by the wayside!
Howie prefers the towel that I dry my hair with. He sits and waits and whines until I take the towel off my head. I give it to him and he flops down and wipes his face on the damp towel.
Needless to say, the towel then goes into the wash.

The dressing gown & skirts do sound like fun.
