Does your dog go crazy?

My sheepie goes crazy when the landscapers come. He'll launch himself at the sliding door and windows to protect his domain.

Does your dog ever go crazy?

If we get the martini shaker out. She goes completely insane and has to go find a stuffie to kill. Weirdo.
Izzie hates the sound of foil and ripping off the roll  she goes ballistic
When we are in the car and she sees another dog she goes ballistic  .... It is a HORRIBLE habit and I am trying to actually figure out what to do to make that stop. Perhaps, I should start another thread for some ideas.

Mady doesn't like cocktail hour?? Winston likes it becuase it means we'll get silly and get down on the floor to play with him. Or maybe she's the anti-James Bond of dogs and thinks you should not shake your martinis but have them simply stirred.
As for crazy, Winston gets crazy upset if we go swimming but he goes bonkers with happy puppy exuburence after he's had a good swim.
Fly swatters.....they run and hide. Honestly, I've never swatted them with the swatter.

MO hates for me to pop the air inflated bags used for packing material.....either the tiny hole stuff or the larger individual bags.

MO and lawn mower.......the only time she has ever come near it was to warn DH there was lightning in the area.......he wears hearing protection while mowing.
when we are driving in the car when i put the turn signal on duff goes nuts ! i am going to get a ticket one day for not using it
Mine attack the plastic bag when I attempt to refill the garbage can  And, oh, the tape measure. Bella goes NUTS when I try to measure anything!

Tried to measure Dahlia today and she went nuts over the tape-measure. I just wanted to see how tall she was and she just bounced around the room, running around with puppy zooms.... She doesn't normally do that, but, she did when that tape measure came out.... BTW, I never could get her to stand still long enough to measure her with that thing in my hand.
Besides the aforementioned Martini Shaker (which is SO freaking funny! She is so sensitive to it, Mady can be upstairs with Kim, and I just pick it up gently from the drying rack (no actual Martini-shaking), and Mady will come charging down the stairs barking, she'll run and grab a stuffed toy, and shake it vigourously at me), Mady will hop around and bark at any broom, shovel, rake or similar tool. She hides from the big vacuum cleaner, she tries to attack the small one...

:wag:
Do my dogs ever NOT go crazy?
Apparently the shaking motion is an invitation to play.

Crumpet hated brooms, attacked them with vengence. As a pup, she could ride a shop broom all the while snarling and trying to kill the bristles. Later she got to heavy to push around.
panda jumps at the garbage bag liner when i shake it open..

she attacks the vacuum cleaner floor attachment but not the carpet one..

she chases after the pillow cases when i pull them from the pillow and throw them to the floor

and she attacks and barks at me any and every time i sing 8O

Bero gets overwhelmed only when we come back after work.
 Willoughby goes mad when I try to water the flower beds with the hose.He tears around barking madly. He wants me to keep the water spray moving so he can chase it and intercept it so he can drink ! Our back yard (garden) isn't very big so watering is very exciting! I'm exhausted at the end of this and usually switch to a small sprinler attachment as a signal that hose chasing is over for the day. :phew:
Everything else makes sense to me...the broms, thevacuum, the bag shaking,,but the singing? Ha ha..hope you don't sing for a living!
The only thing that really gets Zoey out of control is a random squirrel that she sees in our front yard while she's standing at the front window. I think the fact that she can't get to it is what gets her.

So far we haven't found anything that sends Caitlyn off the deep end.

Vance
Dutch barks and jumps around with two things.... the word go and when she sees me picking up the garbage container to go and empty it :D
Chowder loves the tape measure too! She likes to put it in her mouth and pull it.

She gets excited over the words hungry, bed, and out.

She goes crazy over the empty outside garbage and recycle bins. She's no afraid because she'l small them when they aren't moving but once they move she freaks
Carley hates the left turn signal when we are in the car. She goes nuts. She doesn't mind the right one as much.
She is OK with the vacuum cleaner unless Dale runs it toward her. Then she tries to attack it.
We have to spell the word squirrel or she tries to get out the door to chase them.
If we say something about going for a ride she runs around untill we let her out and then she stands by the car waiting for the door to open. :excited: :excited:
My two go nuts if they hear my car keys jingle. Even the slightest little jingle they start jumping and running to the door then back to me with their little butts wiggling and BIG smiles! I don't dare even touch my keys if I am not planning to go anywhere. I bought a special hook so that they hang inside my purse and are less likely to be 'heard'! :D They don't even look up if my husband rattles his keys. I swear I don't know how they know the difference! :?
