Join the club, I haven't yet but I have sponsors if I ever get around to filling out the membership app. They do all sorts of fun sheepie things.
Super cool!!

I'll look into it!!! Thanks!
Emily, that is so exciting!!! :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple:

Not quite Montana, but so much closer....your family must be so happy :cheer:

I vacationed out there once and liked it......100% more than Florida

Good luck with the move across country :phew: :clappurple: :clappurple:
Nice, Emily!

Major sheepdog country. Has an OES club and everything. Lots of activities for all kinds of OES related interests from the sound of it.

Also very pretty. My brother lives there. Not that he has sheepdogs, but rather cats. He's strange that way.

I don't know about Major sheepdog country. They're still pretty uncommon in Washington. Seattle is our biggest city and the rest of Wa just travels there for the sheepie events.
Our you a member of the club?

In which case you can introduce Emily et al to folks, I presume.

As for sheepdog density, it's all relative ;-)

Sad to hear you left Florida, but excited for you in your new place. Wow the weather difference from Florida to Washington State.
Best of luck to you!

I am not a member yet. I will be as soon as I fill out the application (whenever I get around to it) but I can introduce her to a couple members, even though I'm not yet.

Yes the weather is crappy here. This summer it didnt get above 80 and that was only for 2 days!!!! Its in the mid 50's (some days colder) right now. Make sure you buy LOTS and LOTS of sweaters and coats. There's a reason everyone here wears carharrt and flannel.
I'm thrilled - you're right, Dawn, it is so much closer to MT and my family is so happy! I actually am a bit familiar with the weather as my grandma lives here and we visited her my whole childhood. That doesn't mean I'm prepared, but I'm a bit familiar! And compared with sheepies in FL I think there is a bigger population here . . . Bingley will LOVE the cool weather. He should be coming up with Ian in about one month from today. I'm missing my boy SOoooo much, but he'll be thrilled.

Thanks for the good wishes! I'll be joining the club once we're both settled with long-term jobs . . . we're still working on figuring out Ian's! :D

Oh - and I'm teaching at the same elementary school my MOM attended!!!!! 8O :D
That is fun you are at the same school your mom went too.

So that's why you're there already - school started. I hope Ian has good luck job hunting out there.
Bing will LOVE it! :clappurple:

We vacationed out near Quilicene - on Dabob Bay.
And Todd has 2 cousins and their families who live out there too.
Truly beautiful. :D
FUN! If you ever vacation out this way again we NEED to meet up! :D
Lmao vacationing with the quil-billies. :high5:

Quil is only 50 mins from where I live. (Pretty much the same milage forks to here but opposite direction)

It is very pretty here and its easily taken for granted.

Bing will love the weather compared to florida but there is ALOT of moisture and mud here. They stay wet ALOT. It rains in the summer  (well technically we get 2 weeks of straight sun then all rain) Which means alot of drying and alot of brushing. Well I guess not so much south sound, the peninsula is a rainforest but we are in a pineapple express. (not the movie)

Alot of that seems like gibberish, unless your from western washington.
