Sometimes overprotective mommies aren't actually wrong.

So I've shared about taking in Rudy for a sore tummy and some vomiting. Four hundred dollars worth of tests later he's declared good. And he was. Nothing got stuck.

But....

Saturday night he passed a long (between ten and eleven inches) very tightly compacted poop which contained a lot of fibres from the back of a sheet of tree bark.

Pushed in together and fully compacted it was about an inch in diameter.

And this is how I spend my Saturday nights...poking at poop in Poo Corner.

Anway, all is well with Rudy Patootie...but that stuff could have been problematic.

I guess it's back to the old muzzle when he goes out without someone standing right beside him.

Thank goodness all is well but Rudy will you never learn. Only eat what mommy and daddy give you. Just think of all the treats you could have if you didn't keep costing them money for all the tests.

Oh Rudy!
I think mamas' (and papas' too, I'm sure) instincts are more often right than wrong. And Rudy, stick to kibble, my boy, stick to kibble!
Its always...interesting to find out what they have been up to when you are not looking.
Rudy sounds like my Bella...always up to something and its usually not good! Glad he is okay...and I have found that every time I brought my dogs to ER or the Vet for something, I was usually right and we had a problem or potential one. When you know your dog, you know your dog! Good call, Mommy!
