Panda's did it ...

Lisa is coming into town on thursday...she is allergic to panda so i had brian take her to cali for the week....

Panda has become dog aggressive. I know this and Brian knows this...I have managed for over a year now to keep her away from other dogs in a dog infested hi-rise condo...I have taken some nasty spills and aquired some nasty bruises...BUT all dogs involved have remained safe and sound...

Brian has Panda in cali for less than 24 hours and she bit a neighboring yellow lab...one stitch needed....seriously????? he said he didnt see the other dog on the patio...I asked did you see the owners?? He said ''yes''....I told him to always assume that they have their dog with them....grrrrr....

The lab is fine. I feel really bad...but brian needs to keep his head out of his butt!!

Her aggression started soon after her nose turned completely pink...Im not sure if they have to do with each other...but, it's not like it's a new situation!

Yeah, I bet her nose condition has her feeling "strange." If she feels she is ill and vulnerable, she will be aggressive. Panda might need a little mouth guard when she is out among the public......maybe rhinestone studded? er, would Brian allow "his" dog to wear rhinestones?
I feel your pain...I have no clue how the inattentive gene manifests in guys....
Oh boo.... I know this is bad and mean for the lab.... but at least it wasn't Panda that got bitten and needed stitches...

I highly second the rhinestone studded anything!!!
Oh boy you should have seen Heart at the Sheepin. She's a total fashionista~
I think Panda will look very pretty with Rhinestone accessories
i do have a muzzle for her and i use it when i feel it necessary...of course brian doesnt like the muzzle and says that he can ''handle'' her better....yes, he can...to the tune of $120.00 vet bill for the other dog.....sigh....
Vic says -
"Panda the pink nosed sheepie"
(to the tune of rudolph- )
(and we think it's the other dog's fault,)
"they never let poor Panda
play in all the doggy games...."

1 stitch $120 - really? That is obscene.

Since the dog aggression co-incided with her nose pigmentation going, which is most likely autoimmune, (re)check her thyroid? Even if she's borderline it might be worth supplementing her. Not that all dog aggression is thyroid related, but it can be and the timing is suspect. Perhaps consult with Dr Dodds?

Save muzzle for husband? ;-)

Sorry about the damage. That stinks. $1200 for one stitch? Wow :twitch:

Agree with Kristine have her thyroid checked again.
As long as Panda's OK and lucky the other owner's were understanding! Boy, that's rough.

Such a drag that Lisa's allergic.

I agree about the thyroid. Hannah's personality changed as her thyroid problem manifested.

Give pink nosed Panda a big hug from me when she gets home. Have fun with your Sis.
i didnt even think about her thyroid!! makes sense though....already scheduled vet visit when she gets back...

oh and it was $120.00 not $1200.00...holy crap, i would have killed him if it where that much....

i miss her so much...my house is so empty...
Technically, I think you should blame Lisa for the whole thing. ;)
ill let her know, jill!
