Two dogs

Just wondering .....

Do any of you have two dogs who just don't get along? With energy levels being different or one dog just not being a touchy feely dog or one who just barks when the other one runs around?

Just curious.

Yes!!!
Rastus and Tiggy. They don't hate each other or more to the point Rastus doesn't hate Tiggy he just finds her really difficult. Tiggy on the other hand loves everyone.

Rastus is a sensitive soul and he finds Tiggy's running and jumping around very disconcerting and he can't stand her barking. It seems to hurt his ears and really does stress him out. Occasionally they play together but Tiggy starts to do the sheepie body slams and rough and tumble and Rastus freaks out and gets scared.

So we now walk them separately at the off lead park. It takes up a lot more time but Rastus really hated walking with Tiggy as she chased and barked at him. I am very strict with Tiggy she is NOT allowed to bark at Rastus when it's either of their turns to go for a walk. This one is difficult as she forgets herself and barks with excitement, so I put them on separate sides of the baby gate before I get a dog lead out.

Rastus would rather be an only dog he was happy with his siamese cat friend. Tiggy is just happy and has never been an only dog so she's fine with things.
