The new proyect is finish

Here are the pictures of the enamel on copper that I post last week

let me describe the process, you take a cooper sheet and covered with a special wax, then apply the design and scratch the pieces that you want engrave, after that you soak the panel on nitric acid to etch the copper out, when this is done, you take the panel heat it up take the wax off, wash it and clean it really good, then apply the enamel in powder and fire in a kiln at 1000 degrees, soak it a few more minutes in acid and wash clean, polish and mounted in a really nice frame.

Is a really nice process and takes about 2 or 3 days when you have all the time in the world, but working the hours I am working it took me a little bit more :D

For the people that ask for the price, well, the price is $150.00 + shipping. I know that is a little bit high but is a lot work too.

If you are interested but the price is a little inconvenient send me a pm and maybe we can work something out :D :D :D

Monica, those pictures don't do your work justice. They are absolutely gorgeous! I love the framed piece I bought at Sheepiepalooza this year.

monica,
not high at all considering time and talent you've put in them. they are spectacular and i was going to trade you a new very brave fox fighting rooster for one, but considering the cost to ship him, i'll wait till i hit sheepiepalooza and buy several art pieces for the new sheepiepalooza house. i was thinking tilly aka superhero needs a steak at gino's, but then realized all the sheepies need a steak at gino's or spags & meatballs.(their choice)
so, i'm off to work. 8)
Oh Monica those are absolutely beautiful!!! :clappurple: :clappurple: :hearts: :hearts:

Cindy
How beautiful :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: perhaps I won't sell my kiln afterall :)
Beautiful Art...you are so talented.
Gorgeous! And don't be worrying about the price-you have talent and skills that are valuable, plus your time too! Does the U.S. have a craft fair circuit, like they do here in Canada, where artists and artisans go to show their talents? If so, you should join in on that!!
Thank you very much to all, I am very glad that you like and enjoy the work it means a lot to me :D :D :D :D
Very beautiful. Thank you for sharing and for describing the process. Sounds interesting and fun, with beautiful results in talented hands.
Beautiful work Monica! Those are so unique and special!
