That is truly horrible, you couldn't even tell what it was in the first picture. I can't imagine what the people that took care of him must have had to deal with.
I hope they find the owners, put them in straight jackets, tie them up and leave them to rot!

Can you imagine how that dog must feel now??? ....free
He deserves a good life after that hell
Hideous, hopefully he finds a super loving home. Interesting one of the first comment posted on that site asked "how did they manage before people stepped in" i.e. "in the wild". Dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years, and many, if not most breeds could not survive as "wild animals" anymore. Sheepies need their people!
 I HOPE KARMA BITES THEM IN THE A$$!!!!!!!!

Re oes in particular, they never were "wild" or even close to it, they are a completely man made breed that has only been around for a couple hundred years....
I am confident that there is a special place reserved in HELL for people who mistreat animals!

I hope so too!! That picture made me cry :( It's so horrible! I just can't imagine how that poor dog feels.. I'm just speechless, how anyone can do that!
Ok, I should NOT have looked at that...Did they find these dam humans who left him like that? I can't imagine what his life was like...and he was ten years old! I am sick to my stomach...
I read today that they had to put him to sleep, as a result of the neglect and pain he was suffering :( :(
:( :( :( I hope he felt a bit of love and concern for him this past week.
I could not look I am still a bit fragile after losing bruiser Those of us that do rescue see this horrible stuff a lot May he rest in peace and I hope they skin the people that did what ever they did

:( Oh, how sad.
It makes me so sad and angry to see this kind of animal abuse.
I wonder - what about neighbors and friends.......
how can an animal walk around like this and noone cares?
rip floyed if only they had saved you earlier you could of had such a good life. how your owners let you live like that... words just can not speak! at least you died being cared for xxxxx
I will never understand how people can mistreat any animal. All they ever ask for is to be loved. They give so much in return. They should treat the owners the way he was treated. May he rest in peace.
I really can't understand why people do this, that poor dog it made me cry looking at this
