Ice Cubes

Our first OES, in 1977, loved ice cubes as a treat. Our next one's favorite treat was ice cubes though at about 2 years old he started throwing up within a minute of eating one so we quit givng them to him. Without a doubt Dexter's favorite treat is an ice cube; when he hears the ice dispenser he will quit whatever he is doing, to include eating an ice cube, to come get an ice cube.

Dexter also loves carrots, parsnips and cabbage hearts and any time we leave the pantry door open will sneak in and help himself to a sweet potato.

Does anyone else's sheepie like ice cubes or other non-typical treats?

Do Tortillas count? Tilly love love tortillas :D :D
bella loves tomatoes and will go into to the garden and help herself 8O
Butchy loves ice cubes, he knows about what time at night I get some and he's right there waiting. First oes loved them, 2nd didn't and Butch will try and sneak a potato if he gets the chance. They all were good eaters and loved everything except dry lettuce.
Ha! There is NOTHING Jack won't run to eat. At least he keeps it food oriented (tho I don't consider the occasional snack on poop food oriented).

Here we are last night, snug in our temporary diningroom/bedroom/office, Jack begging for strawberry. To preserve his fingers, DH will only feed Jack from a fork (coward):

Yes, that's Simone under the table
We recently found out Asgard likes ice cubes by mistake!

Warm summers day, cocktail shaker on the go and a wayward ice cube its the ground....

So funny watching him throw his head back while crunching it to bits!!
Millie also adores ice cubes!!! Our fridge has the freezer on the bottom and every time it is opened she sticks her head in the ice tray and runs off with a couple of pieces!
Ziggi loves ice cubes too but they make her sick within a minute or two. I will only give her a really small ice cube, that seems to work. My last sheepie, Lizzy, loved ice cubes and we let her have them all the time. :clappurple:
Wendel will eat ANYTHING. For awhile, I thought the only thing he didn't like was celery, but he proved me wrong there! Asterisk, my girl, is a picky eater, she does love popcorn and pretzels. Levi, after confusion that you gave him something he's never had before, will gingerly explore and eat it.
Hank loves Kale. Totally weird.
Pine bark mulch is high on Dexter's snack list. For long time he only chewed it up but now we get evidence that he is eating it. We try to watch him but he is quick to get a mouthful since most of our flower beds are covered in it.

He will take anything we offer him then walk to his bed to investigate/eat it. If he doesn't like it he will politely place it off the side of his bed, where we can't readily see it.

Does Kale give Hank gas? Cabbage gives Dexter horrible gas! We have searched the house for "presents" only to remember he had a cabbage snack.
