Sheepdog gathering in Maryland
 Sooooo we thought about Sept. Last year we had such a good time. played sheepdog games and had a blast!! The weather was perfect. It has been so hot here (well everywhere) that I will wait till closer to aug to set a date. I already have some game ideas and prizes. So think about coming to the farm and having a good time. More later  Anybody can come and you don't even have to have a sheepdog There will be two GSD's and a Lab here!!!!cindy and the hounds of crazy acres |

Sounds like lots of fun and wish I could come!!! I will be traveling to MD just b/4 Thanksgiving and will be there a week at my sister's. (my dogs NOT welcome at her house) I hope you post pictures of the event and all the fun and games  Nancy |
| Dogs are always welcome at crazy acres but I will be somewhat imobile them Maybe folks should post which weekend is best for them and then we can decide. I can always bring the hose out for the dogs !!! |

We are not near germantown but closer to harve de grace or churchville Maryland We are in a po dunk town but it is great Closer to the date I will pm my address. Don't want any internet crazies coming  We usually set the food up in the barn put chairs in the back field and let the sheepdogs run!!! |

This sounds like a lot of fun and we would love to come, help and do whatever you need to make things happen. We live in Northern VA. The only hinderance would be the date. My daughter is a senior and part of a very big competitive marching band and she is drum major so if it's a competition weekend we may not be able to go as Brian and I head up the pit crew. So far, Sept 24, Oct 15th and 29th and Nov.12 are competition Saturday's. Hope we can make it. Let me know when you decided a date. I am fairly new on this forum and very anxious to get involved and meet other Sheepies and their owners!!  |

| Dawn Are you sure?? I think it may be closer now  I know a lot of you are going to the nationals (again...) but I will be in NM with my BFF and guinness in Oct and then in the hospital for my knee. I have to say I got the best care with my last knee I wanted to stay longer!!!! Maybe one day you can take a maryland vacation we have lots of room!!!!cindy |

| I could do the 3rd, possibly the 4th, but need to be in Philly that night. Sept 10th I'm heading out to a tradeshow in Vegas. There is also an OES specialty on Sept 10th in Central Jersey and Groom Expo is happening in Hershey PA that weekend which is a great place to stock up on grooming supplies. |

| We would like to make it again this year "IF" our Soccer schedule allows. We have a Tournament in early Sept and the season starts on the 11th. It all depends on the date. |

I am getting emails from folks I am thinking maybe sunday the 4th? start around 11 am Please pm me your email address if you want to come and I will send details. Again we can grill hot dogs and hamburgers We had tons of sodas left so maybe folks can bring their own drinks I will have a cooler full of ice and salads and deserts can be brought. I will provide the buns (and the hamburgs and dogs) We don't need a ton of extra food. It will be BYOB too  |

| Is the get together set for Sept 3rd/4th??? I am trying to plan on coming. Lots of chaos going on at my house as we are finally starting to rebuild since our fire. But it sure would be nice to pack up the sheepies and have some fun for a weekend! its been a rough few months here...for the humans and doggys! Just looked into renting an RV for the weekend. So we can stay overnight and enjoy ourselves without worrying about the same day long ride home. Mapquest says its about four hours from us... Just wanted to confirm the date soon so I can reserve my RV!!!! |
