Why do they always pick up bad behaviours with ease?

Hudson's always been a bit of a thief. He'll steal shoes (no closet door) and take them into the living room. He chews a few bites, but never does any damage.

Yesterday we found four single shoes (no pairs) in the living room. Hudson was upstairs, but Rudy was there. My hubby refused to believe that Rudy could do such a thing. Oh no, not HIS Rudydog. It MUST be a frame job! Hudson set him up and then ran and hid upstairs.

So just now I was going through the change jar, rolling coins. I was two coins short for the nickels, so I went digging around the house looking (I hate stopping that close). I had sorted all the change and some bills on the kitchen table. After I found the nickels I came downstairs and Rudy trotted past me, on his way to the living room.

WITH A FIVE DOLLAR BILL FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE KITCHEN TABLE IN HIS MOUTH.

Oh Rudy, why can't you learn GOOD behaviours (like not wanting to bite all the other dogs) from Hudson as easily as you pick up the bad?

No harm done, but the five was a little damp as I slipped it into the paper money roll. And no, this is NOT an indication that Rudy needs a weekly allowance to spend on cheeseburgers and steak.

LOL Too funny....
Hm...you're still ahead of the game. Ask Pam (Simon's mom) about how she has had to salvage purloined money... 8O 8) Surely your boy deserves a cheeseburger for not putting you through that??? :cow:

Well since it was mentioned...At least it didn't look like this

Thats the one's. I'm still missing fifteen, a ten and a five, the twenty I found a little worse for wear in the back yard last spring and another single that dh found just a few days ago.
We have retrieved quarters the same way Pam does.

When Butchy was a few months old he reached up on the table and got a hold of a $75.00 check we needed to cash. It looked pretty bad but I laid it out flat, let it dry and the bank did cash it. Thank goodness.

I agree with Rudy, he does need cheeseburger allowance, he's such a good boy.
What??? So Rudy doesn't have an allowance???? Well then what do you expect?? What's the poor boy to do? He has no allowance to buy his own shoes so he has to borrow some, and every boy needs a bit of pocket money for cheeseburgers! Honestly, Tracie, I thought you were taking better care of this sweet boy. Now I'm not so sure...

 :sidestep:
i think hudson put the 5 in rudys mouth ..no our rudy
