A few steps forward and a few right back.

I have been working my way, room by room, on a massive reorganization/purge. This morning eighteen bags of garbage were picked up, and a bunch of recycling. As well an old futon is now finally gone. I also did enough today to fill seven more bags.

It all seems good right?

I just ran out to the garage to drop some tools from my KITCHEN on hubby's work bench and found several items that were in the recycling bin last night.

Okay. Game on. When I finish the house I will move on to the man cave.

And you guys won't warn Gordon will you? I don't want him to have enough time to stash it all in his truck. I am now giggling maniacally and wringing my hands.

But congrats on YOUR progress, BTW! :cheer:
Oh oh oh! I believe man-caves are off-limits to cleaning purges!!!

I thought that was enshrined in the consitution or something like that? Well, maybe not the American one ;-)

Whatever you can get away with.
I wish you success! This time take the bags directly to a pickup location, do not let the other half know they existed.
If you run out of rooms to declutter and organize at your house, let me know.
HEY GORDY....................WATCH OUT !!!!!!

JUST WATCH OUT !

Don't touch my Man Cave, or tools, or toys, or any of my............STUFF !
Stuff....Thats all it is. My dh collects it. He brings home useless things and we even had to take a trip to the ER after he cut his hand dumpster diving.

Like you Traci, I try to keep things "somewhat" organized. My trick when throwing out useless or unused stuff is to bury it deep in the garbage, usually under something really gross. Funny thing is he never misses it.

Gotta be careful about that man cave though...somehow they know when even one thing is missing or has been moved.
I look at this trunk we have, that is FULL of comic books, each lovingly encased in plastic. I have never seen him open this trunk. I have never seen one of the comics outside of its wrapper. I have never seen David read one of these comics. But I have to move that @$^@$ trunk everytime I want to vacuum or wash the floors. Would he even miss the trunk? Tracie is such an inspiration to me!

P.S. All the diecast metal Ferraris, and the Ferrari Lego are next!
Now they're even annoucing their evil plans publicy....no shame, none, nada. 8O

Ron - I think this calls for a hidden husband only topic area where counter-measures can be discussed privately. Something to consider. 8)
