Overwhelmed

Does anyone else just get overwhelmed by the unbelievable cuteness of their sheepie? :excited: I melt almost 50 times a day, just looking at Sunny. Long fur, short fur, shaggy with hidden eyes, or shaved with her "monkey eye" (pink skin around eye), it doesn't even matter, I just can't get enough of this adorable ball of cute! And that's just when she's lying around or sitting in front of me. But then enter in her adorable and goofy personality, wiggly bum, hopping around when excited, or the best are her neck hugs that she gives us, and it's just a disaster for me trying to retain alpha in the house, because she's always getting unearned affection. But really, being as cute as she is, she DOES deserve the attention!

Sigh. That's good to get off my chest.

Anyone else a member of Obsessive Sheepie Owners Anonymous?

I agree. Millie does cute things all of the time. I love to put ice cubes in her water bowl and watch as she fishes them out. She makes a huge mess but it is so funny that I don't mind the clean up.

I really hope giving lots of hugs, kisses and attention is not considered a bad thing or I am in Big trouble.

Melt is the perfect word. Mady makes me melt. It is crazy how much I love that dog. I swear no one but you folks can possibly understand it. And the neat thing is that I also find that the dogs on this forum make me melt too, when I see all of the pictures and hear the wonderful stories. Yup, I am just a big puddle up here.
Ditto!!! :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:

I have a few dogs but, my kids all make me melt 8)
Finn has a pucker that just gets me a million times a day!
Yea me too. It is hard to get mad at them....they're just too darn cute. Chauncey will be 6 in August so he's lost the puppy antic's, and I never expected to say this but I do miss some of his Mr. Bad Behavior antics.
He has become a huge snuggle bug, when he wants something he will lay his head on my lap and look up at me with those eyes....I swear I'd give him the keys to the car if thats what he wanted 8) :wag:

I also must admit that I'm in love with Rudy from Manitoba. What a great home that he has found. I check his blog often, it's a guaranteed smile or laugh for my day. It's a joy to see the progress he's made since he doesn't need to worry about those pesky alligator's anymore :phew:
i have been told through the 30 yrs i have had sheepdogs i am well.....obsess ... i live for my sheepdogs ..they have had me make decisions on men my work where i live ..so what is wrong with that!!
Oh yes, I also suffer from Complusive Sheepie Adoration! My dogs run my life...I get up early for them, I come home at lunch time to see them, I hardly go out at night but for a few hours...today, the 4th of July is hard for them so I am home, with music on, a/c blasting and cuddles on the couch...they run my life and I am proud of it! :yay:

So glad to hear I have company! I was pretty sure that I would but it's great to hear everyone's personal take on how much they love their own sheepie :cheer:
