Ella, adorable 3 year old in Marseilles, IL

There is a little video of Ella on her petfinder page. I would think she is very adoptable. She is very cute.

She is a 3 year old Old English Sheepdog. Her owner had to give her up because of personal reasons, not because there was a problem with Ella. Ella is a great dog, a big sweetheart. She orignally lived with another dog (a lab) and with kids. So Ella is used to other animals and kids and is very good with them. She is just wanting to have fun and be happy and play. She is very friendly and playful and just makes me laugh.

From the picture and description, I'm sure she'll be snatched up quickly! What a sweetie! :hearts:
Nice girl!

That video is crazy dizzy, but shows Ella off pretty well.
Look at 1:54 into the video... she has that doggy smile where
she shows her front teeth. Due to the excitement level
of the lady with the flip flops maybe?

She'll find a home quickly! :hearts:
IF this little dolly isn't snapped up right away, what are the chances of getting her to Minnesota on a transport. If she comes to MARS or MOESR, at least I could foster her.
That would be an option.

Nancy - did you contact Nita or Nancy H yet? I would start there. One of you could then contact the shelter and see if they plan to adopt her out themselves or if they are interested in rescue placing her.
I just left a vm message for Nancy H. Hopefully she will get back to me. Did I mention I am also a volunteer for MOESR? I have been forgetting lots of things since loosing Gracie.Dropping lots of glasses, lost my wallet but found it after I cancelled things, then found it sitting on my snowblower. I don't recall putting it there or how long it was there. But I must have dont it. Not tracking well and still many tears. And I seem to have very little patience with some people.

Yep, I knew you did volunteer. I just suggested the contact as a way to not duplicate calls to the shelter (in case either was already on it).
I understand the forgetfulness/irritability too - too much mental stress does that :( :(
She looks happy with a typical OES personality.
Hoping she finds a wonderful furever home soon.
