Forget shurtling I've taken up a new martial art

Tiggy has been practising a new martial art called Tiggeroo in secret. She unleashed a surprise attack on me 3 weeks ago and I am still recovering. The bruises were as black as I've ever seen and are still not completely gone and I have a small haematoma (clot of blood) under the skin of my inner thigh. I decided against photographic evidence in light of the family friendly nature of this forum.

In recent times I can only think of Hurricane Harry as launching a better preemptive strike. I have a horrible feeling Tiggy is practicing the head butt in secret too.

This is Tiggy's explanation of the deadly art of Tiggeroo. I think she may be getting a little to big for her paws, I mean boots.

Tiggster!!!

Thanks for the phone call at 2am a couple of days ago to clue me in on your new Tiggeroo attack. I have to admit, you woke me from a sound sleep, but you got me soo excited I had to try it on mom yesterday!

She decided to take an afternoon nap and, after 2 long hours, I thought ENUFF was ENUFF, so I began with a very strong BEDBUMP and when she FINALLY got out of bed, I knew it was now or never to attempt the TIGGEROO!!!

Now, admittedly, my form probably was not the best, but the results were all that you spoke of!!
And the painfull scream that came out of mommie was all that I hoped for. I think I scored at least an 8 out of 10..NOT BAD for my first attempt....

Just to prove to you that you are my hero....

I was able to snap this picture of my work!!!

I know it doesn't photograph well, but I keep hearing mom tell anyone who will listen how much it is throbbing, how red and swollen it is and .............how mad she is at me........

love....Heart~~~~~ :aww: :aww: :aww: :aww:
Oh Mim the paws can be deadly. Are you okay?

The Tigster is determined to keep you on your toes. You must be on watch at all times or you never know when she will pull another Tigeroo attack. 8O
Ahhh, good job Grasshopper Heart.

You achieved all the elements of the Tiggeroo!
the element of surprise
the claw of the tiger
the speed of the kangaroo
and the power of the sheepie. :high5: :clappurple:

Yes thanks Judi. Not as much damage as you sustained. I could feel it sore when walking for a few days after though. And the bruising was truly spectacular.
Is there any defense against the Tiggeroo? I hope Mady doesn't read this thread!
Jack has been trying to perfect this move for years, but he has met his Master. I .........usually.........see his poor form before the move, he telegraphs his action with a wide leg movement before it comes at you, so I can work up a good defence......grap the paw before it makes contact. Still have a few good reflexes. However the sneaky "Bast-ion" has been known to use this attack on my face while I'll asleep. Not only do I instantly awake, I'm also loudy exercising my voice while holding my face. No black eyes, but some good red spots and nail gouges. If this is a love tap, I'd hate to see a anger slug.
Butchy has been trying to perfect this too, not so much with me but since Carl isn't real steady on his feet etc he goes for the attack on dad.
shhhh, Charm is easily influenced by her older friends. She is just now perfecting the quick nip and run  I'm sporting bruises from that, cannot take more :plead:
Wow, Tiggy...you have provided a blast from the past.

The old Izzy, not to be confused with the current Izzie (who does not need to know about this maneuver  ), was a pioneer in the field.

He, however, preferred to attack from behind and whack your back using all his strength and nail power :twitch: :cow: I was too young to invoke strong language, but I'm sure I would if it happened now.

Other than quick reflexes IF you see it coming, I believe the only defence is plate armour.
Tilly has been in my computer again searching for Tiggys post, an I am afraid that she read this , but she impove the move.

She do the tiggaroo with a twist of the leash, she give me the tiggaroo with the right paw and got me straight on the the face and then she tanggle her left on the leash which was wrap around my hand and unfortunally got around my ring finger and broke the first joint !

So Please Tiggy don't give any more advice to Tilly or at least make prefectly clear that she don't need to impove your moves. It really hurt !!
Oh.. Monica..I hope you heal really fast~~~~   I am sure Tilly feels really bad...
I'm so so sorry........ I mean, it's terrible that you guys are being bruised, hurt, and in pain :(

But I can't help laughing at the all the comments you make on behalf of your babies. Despite the mishaps, I'm just sitting here thinking to myself that sheepdog owners are truly sheepdog people for a reason, and it's what makes me come online every second I can spare, (and then some). We seem to find the positives in whatever situation and become clowns that make everyone we encounter...laugh out loud.

luv u all....
I can't wait till I get our sheepie and share my stories with you too.
Ahhh Grasshopper Tilly, be careful! It does not pay to break the hand that feeds you.
Luv Tiggy :hearts:
Some great memories Val!

Heart and Tiggy could be such naughty girls sometimes. :hearts: :hearts:
OMG...Mim!!!

I remember when you posted this!!! And then Heart 'got me'...

(thank you for the smile....all of our sheepies have that magic quality to make us laugh in the midst of our tears.)

:hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
