Had to pinch myself today(thinks she caught the sheepie bug)

I've been reading you guy's posts about getting another sheepie... and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the thought of getting another one for myself. Momo was so much work on her own - and when I first brought her home it was all I could do not to cry sometimes because I wasn't sure if I was doing the right things or not... especially with the kitties. Then it started getting easier...

Then... I started getting this reeaaaally stupid idea of another dog much later on... another sheepie! Oh! Evil thoughts! *surpress*

I couldn't do that though - she is big enough on her own - and I promised Brad I would let him pick the next dog (which might be a corgi). He told me he would like to get one of those next - and I told him he would probably love sheepdogs so much that he wouldn't want any other. And he agreed! Ah well - that's thinking waaaay too far ahead - I think I'll enjoy my Momo for a few years and move out until I go crazy and decide to get another babe. :P

 Yep, it happens.... lol......
I can't wait to just get the one  But I'm in your camp- We want to have 2 dogs eventually. Mike wants to get a GSD, I'm hoping he'll fall in love with the OES so much, he'll want another one! (heheheheheheh My evil plan!)

Karen :)
Now that Clyde's settling down, I'm thinking already too but James put a stop to it. So, instead I'm helping my mom get a new puppy and that seems to fill that void for me. We're looking into adopting Oliver, the 16 week old sheepie that someone posted that he needed a new home. I hope it works out!
That would be a great playmate for Clyde and Lucy :D
That was my thought too. More of a playmate for Clyde and a chance to give Lucy a break!

Oooh... I loooove GSD (but I love a great many other dogs as well). If I couldn't get another OES - I think if I were to get another big dog... I would want a GSD... and I know exactly which breeder to get her from too. ^_^ I researched them quite a bit as well.

However, if I were to get a smaller dog (toy)... I think maybe a Chi... Yorkie... maybe a couple of dachshunds (they are always better in 2's!).

Brad wants a Corgi though - they are so cute too! But I have not done very much research on them - so I feel a tad uneasy about them (I have no idea what they are like). I'm planning on doing more research on them soon so when we can get one - I'll be able to tell Brad everything he needs to know.

We have agreed tonight though - that Momo will be our only little puppy girl (ok... huuuuge girly) until she passes away. While I'm sure she would enjoy a friend - we want to spoil her her whole life through! ^_^ Besides, she will have her kitties to play with if she gets lonely. :D

Brad is so funny - he was talking about after Momo gets used to wearing hair clips - that maybe we can buy her some ones with crystals in them and make her look pretty. :P I have bandanas for her right now - she doesn't like wearing them too much right now - but she looks soooo cute with them on. Ack... ok... went off on a tangent! :P
hehe...I know the feeling! We've been talking about geting Jasper a playmate next year. :) I plan on going back to work once both the boys start kindergarten (maybe I'll actually get to use my degree, lol), and we don't want him to be left alone all day. That's still 3 years away, so if we get one next year, hopefully they'll both be old enough not to destroy our house while we're away, maybe... lol
Bestdogsx4 you'd better get out here and see what you've done!!!!!!!
 I'm trying to keep a low profile
Haha.... cute bestdogsx4!!!
That'll be us in a few years too...lol...
I'm working on my husband to be bestdogsx6
I've been working on mine to let me get a ragdoll cat, and a new computer, now that both of those goals have been achieved, what should be next?
 mmmm....... a....mmmm.....SHEEPIE  or 2
I think Maxmm may be right, I am a pusher :D
Well, I am having a hard time staying away from pups that my breeder has...lol... but if all goes well, the next oes in our house will be Dancer's babies, sometime in the fall likely.

8O 8O Could you imagine the brushing?! Your arm would fall off and you would be a hunch back within one year.

Of course... I guess you could have 12 if you lived in a very large house... with your own personal groomer... or if you shaved them all... hrmmm...
   If I ever win the lottery my first purchase would be a live in groomer :D Bestdogsx12 does have a nice ring to it!
Bestdogs,
You work hard, treat yourself!!!!
 Some guy in MI just won 205,000,000.00 in the lottery. I'm pretty sure had I actually bought a ticket I would have won
Anythings possible,
there was a recent story of a happy group who won by
playing the numbers on the back of their fortune cookie!!!

Why not play tomorrow, just make sure your number has
a 12 in it!!!!

Good luck!
I always mean to buy lottery tickets, and never do....lol..... my husband and I have it all planned out what we'd do with certain amounts of money if we ever won any, but I keep reminding him we have to play to win...lol... and then I'm the one who forgets to pick up any tickets...lol... maybe today is the day I'll remember! LOL
Was it finally a Michigan person? I've given up because I swear someone in Georgia always wins the big ones!
Yup, he's from Port Huron. A couple of years ago my sons friends dad won 82 Million, they were from Shelby Twp. If I ever win I'd probably drop dead :D but of course since I forget to buy tickets chances are not very good.
Lol. That reminds me of a joke I heard-- it's a little crass for the board but remind me when I meet you ;)

I used to know a lot of people frrom Port Huron... now I'll have to look them up...
