Dock Diving
I think we're only going to do "Big Air", since she will already jump into the water off a dock. She always stops when she gets to the end before she jumps in, which is why were going to take the classes to see if we can get her to just jump right in.. but I'll know that she will jump if we throw a ball. I'm contemplating the "Extreme Vertical" too since I think she might try to grab something... but we've never tried it so we'll see. I think the "Speed Retrieve" would be fun but we have to throw something in the water for her to get it, so I'm not sure if she would do it. Again, we'll just have to see! Anyone have any advice for a couple of amateurs like us? How friendly are competitions to new jumpers? |

| Our kennel's dog pool is set up for dock diving, and we can't get Tonks and Luna to do it. they always head for the stairs into the water. If we block the stairs, they sit patiently and wait. I suspect they simply aren't "dock diving" dogs. |
