Is there a flea & tick repellent spray that works?

First off, no, Brick doesn't have fleas or ticks. :)

I was just wondering if there was a product out there that I could spray him with to repel fleas & ticks; much the same way Off prevents mosquitoes on us.

Being that we'll be in St. Louis over the weekend; around so many other dogs; maybe taking a hike thru the woods, I was wondering if there was something that could give some extra measure of protection on top of the Frontline treatments he gets every month.

So is there a flea & tick repellent spray that works?
If so, is it safe? What's a good brand name? Would it be available at PetSmart?

Thanks.

I'd be a bit leary of adding anything additional. I would think your Frontline application should work. I always err on the the side of caution, especially where chemicals are involved.
I completely agree with Marilyn. The ticks are quite bad this year in Missouri (I pulled 2 off myself last weekend), but Brick should be adequately protected with his Frontline Plus. You on the other hand will probably not be, so pack something for yourself to ward off the nasty buggars!

Jennie, who is still oh so jealous that she can't join you all.
