Bourbon?

I'd like to get a bottle of nice Bourbon during my trip to Sheepiepalooza, one I couldn't get in Canada. Any Bourbon drinkers out there have any recommendations?

Not sure what's available in Canada, but a few I enjoy that wouldn't be difficult to find are Basil Hayden's, Woodford Reserve, and Bulleit. Bulleit's my go-to; Basil Hayden's is a treat.
Mady....and she looks so innocent :cow:
We enjoy Jack Daniels as our usual choice of liquor, and the Gentleman Jack is their smoother and aged bourbon. Personally, I like Woodford Reserve, when I can locate it.
Wild Turkey. The only bourbon.

We might have to have a lengthy taste test during Sheepiepalooza.........
I don't drink brown liquor as a rule but I did sample a couple my husband enjoy's. Makers Mark 46 and High West Bourye http://www.highwest.com/index.php/spirits/bourye I found the Bourye very tasty.

Stepson highly recommends Blanton's. He keeps a bottle in the freezer and says it's the smoothest bourbon on earth! 8O

So many wonderful recommendations, I guess we should ask if any or all are available in Canada?
The only one I have seen his Jack Daniels. Now my challenge will be to ensure that David doesn't come back with several bottles!
Don't know anything about Bourdon but curious...you can't get Bourdon in Canada?

I'm thinking he just wants to get a different kind that they can't normally get - like a souvenir!

Sounds like my kind of fun!!!!!!!!
Have to agree with Paula on this one. I have fond memories of Wild Turkey in my younger days  I've never tried Maker's Mark but hear it's good. I suggest you buy one of everything suggested and give them all a try. Cheers..............
Wild Turkey, Crown Royal BOTH are equally good.....................
Had many a nights of Turkey on the Rocks witha coke back.... but that was a LONG time ago!!!
Around here we like Jack Daniels--All of them--it is made here in Tennessee. Jim Beam is ok too--that one is made in Kentucky. We also keep Woodford Reserve around!
I don't generally do hard liquor but hubby says that Maker's Mark is popular with bourbon aficionados. He's not a bourbon man himself but has friends who are.
