Hiding her stolen loot!!!

So my Tillie has a weird thing she does when she has nabbed something she shouldnt have, for example if she's lay chewing something she shouldnt have I say to her what you go there young lady and she stops chewing and lays her head on the item real fast as if to say me!!! I have nothing.
I watch her a few minutes later she starts at it again I say Tillie what you got and again she hides it lol. Does anyone else have a sneaky sheepie hehehe.

Very smooth, Tillie! :high5:

My Abby is a sneak thief  She seems, to the casual observer, like the most demure, well behaved, beautifully mannered lady...but whenever I go to wash her dog bed blankets I find buried in them things like:

half-chewed wooden spoons :x
Bert's chew toys
anything belonging to her beloved Daddy that she could lay paw on...once it was a stapler...another time, his missing cellphone! 8O
Ryleigh took a stapler too! hahaha I found it "buried" in the couch cushions. Her big thing to chew/tear up is papers. Although she has started on wires and a couple of shoes. The girl has bones, toys, balls, kongs everywhere but still wants the forbidden articles. Thats why it has been back in the kennel with her when I have to leave her alone.

and yes she does the sweet lay the head down look innocent face when I ask her what she has.
If it's small enough Chowder will hide it in her mouth and stop chewing for a FEW MINUTES tricking me into thinking she doesn't have anything.
I've even gone into her mouth with my hands and didn't find anything. Those few minutes go by and she suddenly starts chewing again. Laughing on the inside at me

I'm really curious now, since its more than one dog...WHAT could be a appeal of a stapler???
We rescued a 4 week old kitten years ago. He was so small my Sheepie Malcolm could hide him in his mouth. :twitch: He would follow the kitty around, pick it up and completely close his mouth around the poor baby. The first week the only way I knew he was doing it was his cheeks would be a little puffy. Couple weeks later as kitty grew, the cheeks were puffy and a tiny tail would stick out of Malcoms mouth.

When I asked him what was in his mouth he would open his big mouth, push his tongue forward, and spit out a slimey little fluff ball. :phew: He'd look at me like, "what???".
:twitch: :twitch: :twitch: ^^^^^^^^

definitely 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

Does the kitty have any sort of complex?

You SOOOOO need this on video!!! You could shut down youtube with that.

Our Zoey knows when she does something wrong. If I catch her with a sock or anything else she shouldn't have, I just show it to here and off she goes to lay down on her bed. She got busted and she knows it. I keep saying that she's a really smart dog, it's just misapplied intelligence.

My yorkie and sheepie are devils for chewing anything that is green in the garden. They appear in the kitchen looking totally innocent. We say "Have you been eating something?" looks of shock.."Us Mum? How could you even think that!" emm could be the bits of green leaves stuck in your beards! :aww: :aww:
oh my the story with the kitten is amazing. and the stories of hiding things are funny!
no not the same here. Gigi never takes anything she is not allowed to, however, Bogey will run around with my husband's underwear in his mouth. never hides it. drops it on command. he is not that smart. hahahaha

I had a sheepie that pulled out a small bush!!! When I went outside, she definately knew she did a NO NO and sat on it to hide the evidence, when I went outside to call her in she did not move. I called her and her butt was stuck to the ground, could not understand why she would not come when I called her :lmt:

Yep eventually I saw leaves hanging out from the side of her butt, I laughed then when I knew with the evidence plus dirt on the paws what one sheepie had been up too. The plant entered heaven and one sheepie girl was an angel for the rest of the day

Who said sheepies are dumb ? :wag:
