OES in Georgia

If anybody is in the Georgia area, this poor boy sure looks like he could use some loving. From the dirt and the mats, I am just assuming he's been kept as an outdoor dog. If I wasn't in the northeast, I'd go grab him and try to get him into a home he deserves. What a gorgeous boy.

Oh, poor guy. Can you imagine a coated OES in Georgia in the summer. Please someone go get him :plead: .
the ad said it was placed 4/15. Wonder if he has found a home by now? :plead:
Does it say where in GA?
I can pass it on to Fiona with SE OES Rescue
I have sent this to Fiona, with OES Rescue Network of the Southeast. She is working on it even as we speak. In her words, it is raining sheepies.

Thanks Betsy...I hadn't sent it yet!

I was just on the phone with Fiona a little while ago. She didn't mention this dog in particular, but she did say it had been raining sheepies as of late. But she's had several very successful placements, with a more lined up, so I think all in all OESRNSE is doing okay.

I got some fun things recently for our holiday season auctions- with this many dogs in and out of rescue, we may need the extra $$$....
I can't figure out how some of the SuperAds work... could you let me know if that listing is still current? I've seen
4 pictures (including that one) in what appear to be newer listings but the pictures have been used for quite some
time now.

This is a memorable example... 8)

OMG, they both are from BYB's...... :sidestep:
I swear that ad must have been from 2009 or earlier... unless
they continue to advertise Christmas puppies year-round. :|

Maybe Ron should delete it so we aren't promoting them. But
this is why I'd like to hear if anyone gets a reply from the other
ad... I've been dismissing them as being outdated.

I dismiss the one you linked from West Virginia as a puppy mill/back yard breeders. There are several others that I would classify the same way. I think they just keep reposting the same ad (there may be a way to simply refresh an ad posting). But there are also real ads on there. I've been watching postings all over the place as I prepare to get an OES within the next couple months. I could be wrong, but the one I linked in the OP I believe is (or was) very real.
I didn't mean to offend you. It says to call or write but there's no phone number.
You write and I'll write... let's see if we can get a reply. We can let rescue know
if we hear back.
Oh, you didn't offend me at all. It is actually a good question and one that I think of all the time when looking through various sites looking for dogs. I sent an e-mail, let's see if I get a response. I would assume the rescue listed above would have attempted contact as well. If it's real, hopefully we hear something.
Fiona has contacted them, I will find out if she ever heard anything.

Edit:

I just got a response from Fiona. She sent them an e-mail yesterday and has not received a response.
