| Sounds like she is about done with the upwards growth, but she may continue to gain some weight (slowly) for a while yet. Both of mine were about done with the overall height and length by about 10-11 months, but both also continued to fill out till around 2 yrs. There was minimal weight gain, only a few pounds, after about 17-18 months. My youngest gained after that, but mostly only because he's a bit tubby. My guess is she's close to done except for the filling out. Shellie |
| Asterisk and Levi were young when I got them, Asterisk was 8 weeks and Levi was just shy of 7 months. All my dogs are close to the same weight, but varying heights. They have grown till they were 12 months at height, but continue to fill in till they are two. Asterisk is 23 inches at the shoulder and was 60lbs at a year, but is now 75lbs and is a very slender girl. Levi was 64lbs at a year and is currently 75lbs at a year and four months. He's about 25 inches at the shoulder and is very long and lanky. I would guess he'll be my heaviest dog at 80+/- pounds when he's done growing. Your baby may grow a tiny bit more, but she's really where she will be height wise. |
