Who the heck sustains an injury doing Rally?

Me 8O

And whose fault do you think it was? :lmt:

Yes, for those of you familiar with Team Harrington only one thing would be responsible for a split lip in an attempt to exit the ring after the finish line........Hurricane Harry!

We were at a Show-n-Go to do Rally for "FUN" since he already has his top title.
We had a really nice go in the ring with only a bobbled front. Then they needed another team to go in to give the last dog a chance to honor. Since most of the people were gone and I had been timing to help out I volunteered to give Harry another chance to do Rally because he loves it. He did another nice job. I didn't make a big deal out of his nice job, nothing to get him excited, in fact I was leaning forward to the guy outside the ring to ask him to hand me my leash.

When out of nowhere the beast does one of his upward leaps as though he had just had a great run in agility. :twitch:
As I am leaning down and he is leaping up his tooth clips me on the mouth. The impact also cuts the inside of my lip on my teeth.

I reach up to my mouth and there is a ridiculous amount of blood which I miraculously managed not to get onto my shirt - even though my hands were covered as if I had a bloody nose. I handed my leash and unsecured dog off to someone ringside and asked someone else near my crate to open my travel kleenex so I had a compress. Then I got myself cleaned up and secured a bag of ice to minimize the swelling. It was never painful and only split open again one more time during the rest of the Show-n Go.

But once again my dog makes a spectacle of himself and me.

Wow Harry I think you got a tiny bit carried away with your enthusiasm. 8O

I have only gone so far as to make my Mom feel dizzy when I jumped up and we knocked heads.

You should stick to making your own tongue bleed when you're chasing sheep, like I did, it doesn't look as bad to the crowd. :D

Love Tiggy
:cow: Oh no :cow:

You know, it's something I live in fear of with crazy Biscuit. He LIVES to bounce up in our faces, and he's such a squatty tank. I never bend over when he is near. So far we've had near misses with the face (jammed finger though, from bouncing into my hand while heeling), but I know it's gonna happen.... :(

Glad you saved the clothes from blood stains...no sense TOTALLY advertising your crash.... 8)
I was witness to the aftermath of the crash~~~

didn't see the actual connection....

Personally?????? I think Judi should be thanking Harry!!!

Now she knows what she would look like with an........ANGELINA JOLIE........bottom lip~~~~
