What are some Early Signs of Hip Dysplasia?

What are some early signs of hip dysplasia? Just wondering how or if you can tell without an xray early on.

You might see occasional limping or a slightly different gait when they're running. Maybe a little slower to stand from a down
position, sliding down the wall in order to sit, sometimes sitting on one hip. Playing less. Hearing shuffling of the feet.. they
may scuff their feet when they walk. Some dogs show no signs at all. And other things can also cause some of these
"symptoms". It's why an x-ray is required to rule out the condition. Hoping all is ok!

There are a number of dysplastic dogs with severe arthritis that run, jump, and play as if nothing is wrong and some
dogs with barely any arthritic radiographic changes that are severely lame.
