If there is, then I would be interested in hearing about this as well since we are in NJ.
I just saw this on the NEOESR website.

May 21, 2011
Pennsylvania Picnic
Flourtown Pavilion at Fort Washington State Park

Is there any other information about this? Is this open to everyone?

Thanks!
Is this the same place as last year?

Shari, we went from Somerville, it was an easy really ride and tons of fun!

This is the Facebook link for it...
It is open t public but, I believe Chad would like to get a estimated head
count so, it would be best to contact him if you are going!!

Have :clappurple: fun!!!
Hope you all can read through my typos
I typo'd some of my worst pet peeves!
Thanks for posting the link from FB! We are planning on going and bringing Dahlia to her very 1st Sheepie picnic! She will be almost 5 months old by then! I hope she behaves herself (lol) or better yet, that we behave ourselves and she isn't embarrassed by her fun loving parents.

You will have a BLAST!
One of our former foster dogs Miles will be there with his furever family!
Hope you get to meet him, if you do give him a hug from us!!!
(they are from NJ too)
OH YES! Everyone is welcome to join us! Email me directly and I will send the directions. It is very easy to reach from the PA. Turnpike. The site consists of a large pavilion tucked away in a wooded corner of the park, set apart from the rest of the park, yet wheelchair accessible. It is a state park, so leashes are required and no alcohol is permitted (leashes for dogs, not people. No alcohol for people OR dogs). We also gather on Friday night for cocktails and conversation at the Red Roof Inn in Trevose, PA. The hotel is 12 miles from the park. Contact me for info and directions. Hope you all can join us!
umm... yea. email address should have been included. Here it is: chad_roeger@verizon.net
Is anyone else from these forums coming? We are excited to meet other sheepie families!
Everybody have fun this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't forget to let Chad know you are coming if you haven't already!
Kathy, It is actually next week.... Saturday, May 21 ยท 11:00am - 2:00pm Fort Washington Park, PA.

We are excited and will be there.

This should be quite a lot of stimulus for an almost 5 month old puppy! :yay:

I hope the other pups are ready for a little puppy crazy action.

I thought that the 21st was this weekend!
Glad to know time isn't going as fast as I thought!

Have a blast NEXT weekend!
I think we are going to make it to the picnic. I have a good friends 40th birthday the same day but that starts at 8:00 in NYC. I think its possible to make it back from the picnic, have time to go home, relax for a few then go to NYC right? What do we need to bring besides your sheepie?

Contact Chad to get the details!
He is the picnic host!
I hear he does a wonderful job!!
OMG, that is great Scott! Dahlia can meet Jax! Maybe it will be love at 1st site

Chad sent me a note that it was $10 a person (to help cover food, site rental, drinks, supplies) and if possible (but, not necessary) to bring a snack or small dessert.

There will also be OES crafts and stuff to purchase.

You will definitely have time to go home, relax and go to the bday party! No problem!

Ok, I will look into introducing myself to chad and take it from there. I must warn you Jaxson is a lover boy so it will be love at first site. :yay:

We will definately meet up and make a plan as it gets closer.
Bring some lawn chairs, if you like, and maybe a very small dessert to share. There will be plenty of food, so don't go crazy! This is a low-key event, stress and calorie free. Well, perhaps not the calories, but definitely aimed at being low stress. Contact me if you need anything or if you need directions. chad_roeger@verizon.net Cell# 215 694-0769
i am from there and my brother lives about 3 miles from there darn one day i will make it up there if gas prices aren't 10,00 a gal
Looks like a lot of rain for this coming week. Hopefully it clears on out of here and perfect by the weekend. Looking forward to Saturday!!!!
Weather is looking a little bit better for Saturday!
Paws crossed for a dry sheepie picnic!
We have had the best luck, and 8 picnics with beautiful weather. I am hopeful for this year, but afraid I might jinx it!
It will be a beautiful day!! I will see you there :clappurple:
Now I can say it!!!!!!

HAVE FUN TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!
:clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple:
Looking forward to seeing the pictures!
Unfortunately my son has been sick all week. He did not go to school the whole week and therefore will not be able to attend. He still wants to go anyway but he has been running a fever on and off so its a no go. We are bumming, looking forward to our first sheepie picnic. Yes , please take pictures!!!
We are getting ready to go!! Sorry, Scott about your son being sick.
Dahlia is going to miss meeting her "boyfriend"
We should set up a playdate soon!

The rain has cleared for the picnic so it will be a beautiful day!

My husband isn't going since he is working on the yard since it is the 1st day it hasn't rain in a long time.
I am taking my mom-in-law w/ me! She will get a kick out of all the sheepies!
All OES.org junkies need to seek eavh other out I will be the only one with a black german shepherd and an OES there I am sure!!!!!! The sun is shining   :clappurple: :clappurple: :excited:
We want lots of pictures. Understand Grannie Annie from MA will be there too! Sheepdogs beware! At the NEOESR picnic they have a "let's crawl into bed with Grannie Annie" event. I'm sure the PA sheepdogs will come up with some other game.

May the rain hold off for the picnic.........and come visit us instead.
I think our Ottawa friends who have Winston are down in Philly this weekend, and I think they were hoping to stop by the picnic, let us know if any Canadians with a rambunctious puppy show up!
