Quote: The new advert, which screens at 9.25pm on ITV, follows the dog's journey around the UK as he helps people solve their decorating dilemmas. It is set against background music taken from 1960s children's programme "The Littlest Hobo", in a nod to the decade in which the advert first aired. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvan ... ecade.html |

Thanks for posting that! I wonder if we could ever get Mady that clean... |
Watching that really made my day! Beautiful dog. Great read too. Happy to see the very last paragraph that emphasized the grooming needs. |
Three beautiful sheepies!!! Gair, Lewis and Saffy look absolutely beautiful |
But he has a tail!! Uhggggggggg..... |
Wow I cant believe it's been a 10 year absent of OES Dulux ads in the UK. Great ad and well worth the wait. I love these ads with the OES as stars and of course those countries that advertise Dulux like here, there not OES there "ooooooh look a Dulux Dog" After the recent tv ad here with the OES charging around with tails and without in the mob all looking for something to stir the paint with, this is the newest one, following in the paw prints of the previous TV one. (And carl this little tyke has a tail too. ) |
Look at that face!! |
Ah Yes, Barbara Woodhouse of "Walkies" fame. |
Absolutely gorgeous!!! And I used to LOVE the Littlest Hobo when I was a kid, I loved the song too. |

That made me smile! |
This was the UK ad 10 years ago so nice they have a newer one now. I adore this one, probably one of the best from around the world that use oes as there icon for Dulux. This still cracks me up the singing OES. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6P8zHXzw ... ture=share |

That song has special meaning in my business--just doesn't get any better than a Sheepie singing it!! |
I enjoyed that, especially the bum shot going down the stairs. There is something about that big fuzzy butt that makes me grin. |
Wow very clever, have not seen that one and noticed it was made in Oz, amazing with the way he paints and the end result. |
My dear UK cousins ( both deceased, may they rest in peace ) understood exactly who my first sheep dog was when I said " He's the Dulux dog!" They met him on one of their visits to Canada. That was Toby, my first OES and Willoughby's "Uncle Toby" whom I quote on appropriate occasions. May he also rest in peace! |
Spoke tonight/tomorrow in the UK, with my Friend and Breeder, of my two i brought over as my foundation, and learned that one of the puppies that is sired by her boy Harley is 8 mo old and has gone off for training to be the new Dulux dog in the U.K.! I couldn't be prouder............ |
