The Old English Sheepdog Rescue of Washington State, Inc. (OESROWS) frequently places Old English Sheepdogs into new homes. If you would like to be on our list of adopters or foster homes, please go to the Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue website: (http://www.SPDRdogs.org) and click on “Rescue”. Fill out an application for adoption and email it to the SPDR. They will immediately send us a copy and we can talk with you about present or future rescues.

PRESENT RESCUE - "SHEPHERD": The Olympic Peninsula Humane Society in Port Angeles, WA received an “owner surrender” Old English Sheepdog over a week ago. Shepherd is a 6 year-old male, neutered, and will be fully vaccinated when he is adopted, including his Rabies shot. His bio information is sketchy, but we do know that he is good with children. He was surrendered because he didn’t get along with the other dog in the household. He’s slightly overweight but seems to be in general good health. He has been friendly to the shelter workers and has been a good “guest”.

If you are interested in either fostering or adopting Shepherd, please contact us. If you can’t drive to Port Angeles to pick him up, we can arrange transportation for him. He’s ready to go home!
