My two are what I consider close in age. They are 6 months apart.
There have been ups and downs with training, but that is only because Dancer wasn't properly trained by the time I got Sky. Sky seems to pick up on training faster though and I think she helped Dancer. With most I think they find the older pup helps train the younger pup.
I wouldn't have it any other way, so I don't really know what to tell you.
Iv'e got 2 that are a year apart.Mitch iv'e had since he was a pup and Dylan i have had nearly 2 months who was a rescue.
After a settling in period they are getting on great and Dylan is picking up some training from Mitch.

Wouldn't be without the two of them now :D
 We've had 3 of almost the same age at home... It's a circus!

Now we got Lennon and Sofa as permanent resident and they get along well. Sofa picked up training from Lennon and she's getting better behaved. They have their ocassional "friendly exchanges of ideas", but besides that, they like each other's company.
Hi Bobsmum

Nab is now 11 1/2 months old and Jas is 13 weeks. I took 3 weeks of Nab sulking before Nab put Jas in her place. We did a few things wrong...we fed them at the same time...Nab would go sulk. Jas went out the door first...Nab would go sulk. I put Jas on the bed...VERY BAD...Nab sulked and even cookies wouldn't help. We have since sorted most of my mistakes out. On the whole they are very happy. I will stand at the kitchen window for hours watching them play. Nab is beginning to tolerate Jas kisses so I think they will cuddle soon.

I'm very glad I din't wait until Nab had more house privilages. The few we had to take away because of the puppy did add to the sulking. They are both locked in the kitchen with access to the back yard unless they are with us. Nab had a bit more freedom before Jas came. We do try to spend some one on one time with Nab and that has also helped.

Over all I think they will grow up together and be inseperable. Nab is started to step in at the puppy park if too much intrest is shown in a bad way to Jas. Just remember the first sheepie is still #1 and you'll be fine!

Are you going to get another one soon?
Jack and Annabelle are 3 months apart, and I wouldn't go back and change a thing. Jack was the quick learner, and Annabelle copied everything he did. When it came a few months later though, we would have to separate them EVERYDAY, for some one on one training. Jack just turned 2 yesterday and Annie is 21 months old, and they still get almost daily training, and we still separate them at times so that the one who is lacking on the skill can get extra training.
I think I have had it very easy, and very lucky though. For one I have 2 perfect dogs.....hee hee. Plus, staying at home full time helps for training and potty training purposes. We did crate train, but since I was home, they were barely in it.
Make sure you have support. Brushing, bathing, walking, well....just everything x 2 can be a little more rough, until you get them used to the routine of things.
Good luck, I can't ever imagine not having 2 sheepies, and if it was up to the rest of the family we would have 3 now....LOL

Stormi and co.
I have 2 almost 8 and 2 who are 6. We have never had any serious fights or aggression(food or otherwise) problems. In many ways the 4 are very similar, yet so different in others. Rosco(6) worships Luke who is almost 8. Whatever Luke does Rosco does and they have pretty much the same personality. Beau(8)is Daisy's(6) big brother and protector. Daisy, the youngest and smallest, is mother to all 3. She gets angry with them at times and they know it. She is also very loving to Beau who has cancer and has some bad days. She will curl up next to him and gently lick his face and clean his ears. She can also act like a prison warden when she feels they are doing something wrong  I can't believe how lucky we are to have 4 dogs who get along so well.
