The eat to live program

Has anyone heard of or followed the Eat to Live Program by Dr. Fuhrman?
We have been on it for 3 weeks now. The first 6 weeks are vegan then you can add small quantities of lean meat if you want.
We both have lost 10 lbs. :clappurple:

You eat 1lb of raw vegetables a day and 1lb of cooked veggies a day. 4 fruits or more and some nuts for your oils.
And a cup of legumes for your protein.

It's the first diet I have been on that I am not starving to death.

The hardest part has been no diet pop.

:clappurple: Good for you, Lisa! :clappurple:

I have not heard of it, but plan to do a little Google research later. 8)

Keep up the healthy eating!

I saw him on t.v. talking about it but it seemed quite complicated to me but then that could have been because everyone was talking over each other. I don't like raw veggies except if I can have dip and or course butter on the cooked ones.
Sounds like Lenten Fast,    to you.
Lisa: I've not heard of that diet. It does sound healthy though, and you should be feeling better. Congrats on the weight loss. I stopped drinking pop 4 yrs ago and don't miss it. Good luck!
