BURP.....EXCUSE ME.....

I have noticed that Bella will occasionally burp in the mornings and wondered if this is common with sheepies. I have never had any other dog do this. It is not like she is going to vomit and it doesn't sound like a hiccup. No smell and they are fairly quite "polite" little burps. :twitch:

My sheepies have done that too. Once right in the vet's face, she laughed.
Mine are full of sounds and smells......burping is the least offensive. Harry is well know for a burp after meals and he feels it is necessary to share it with me...."Thank you for my tucker."
Belle will some times walk up to me after she's eaten and burp gently in my face

The occasional burp is not a problem. Habitual burping can some times be a problem if it's somehow involved with major gas buildup in the gut, but we're talking MAJOR burping here. You'd know the difference.

Chewie and all at my house rarely burp. If Chewie does, it's like Belle - just a little one right in my face.
Now Todd, he's a bad one!

We had a funny burp incident at obedience class on Thursday.
We were doing a group long sit with the students, and Linda and I usually stick our dogs in w/ the class for sits and downs.
Linda's 12 yr old Samoyed just ripped one - it was loud even standing across the ring!
In fact it so startled the young IG next to him that he jumped up! 8O
Bricky burps sometimes.
You have to be close to him to hear them, but they're burps. :)
All our dogs have burped from time to time, and, now that I think of it, they usually looked pretty darned pleased with themselves for doing it.

:excited: "That was me!" :excited:
Oh yeah, we get the burps right in the face. Why does it have to be in our faces?

Gar also has tiny little ssssssss coming from the back end.

Simultaneously? 8O 8)

Belle has the occasional very lady like "toots". The rest just let'm rip and then seem offended when I start gasping and waving my hands vigorously in front of my face. Well, in fairness, that's usually in response to the SBD ones.

And, you know, on the rare 8) occasion when I, ahem, pass gas, whomever is closest to me almost inevitably looks at me like WTF just happened here???? Please. Like your efforts don't stink

Pam - did you go to class last night? Jan said the drive home was horrible. Black ice.
