Story Time....add on
We did this a few years ago and it was quite amusing. STORY TIME! Someone starts a story and others add on. I'll start: The man sat in his easy chair reading a book with his sheepdog snoozing at his feet. Suddenly the dog lifted his head, a moment later the doorbell rang. | "Ah, I hear from the barking coming from behind you, this is where the big shaggy dog lives," said the gentlemen at the door. Behind him stood the three children hardly able to control their laughter. |
 "Yes, Indeed", said the man who had been reading in his easy chair. "What can I do for you?" |
| The children want to know if the dog can come out and play... |
"I'll ask him", said the man. "By the way, his name is Wensleydale and we call him "Dale" for short."  |
| Dale considered the request and then inquired whether the children were up to date on their rabies vaccinations and could show proof of their CGCs (Child Good Citizen certifications)? |
| As Dale contemplated the children's temper, he looked carefully at each one. Each looked familiar but still, the boy.......could he be the one who??? Oh surely NOT! But the girls, yes they were the ones who.............. |
| giggled whenever he accidently knocked them over. The boy, he cried and then Dale felt bad, so he trotted over and licked his face and the little boy shrieked with laughter. Dale wanted to go play but... |
| .......he knew he was not suppose to be away from home and had to get back. The man who had taken him in not 6 month before didn't know Dale had the ability to sneak out the basement window. Now these children were about to disclose his secret. |
